Tomorrow is New Year's Eve we will be bringing in the new year with some college football playoff games.

So we will discuss all four of those matchups. going to look at the crazy week 18 coming up in the NFL. We'll talk about all the scenarios. Who's playing, who's not, who's got stuff to play for, who's still tanking all that good stuff. going to also finish out the final four of the toy bracket. But before we do all that

Thank you for listening. Appreciate you taking the time out of your day to check us out. Don't forget, like, subscribe on all the streaming platforms and check us out on the Blitz, the bookie, Facebook, Tik Tok and YouTube pages. We are still working on the text line. We will have the text line up here in the next couple of weeks. We've had a lot going on with the holidays, but we are still working on that. So we'll get that together. So Anthony, New Year's Eve.

It's time to break out the bourbon, watch some football and party like we're young again. That's right. That's right. I guess the main thing is don't party too hard because I don't want to be hung over all day on New Year's Day. No doubt. Not with all the games coming we can't party as hard as we did when we were younger, but I'm probably drink a little bit of bourbon tomorrow. You remember everybody talked pre-gaming right now. I'm pretty gaming right now. You remember everybody talked about in the year 2000, Y2K

It a big deal. I always remember that one. And I know you will too. You're the same age as me. That's the year we graduated high school. I'll never forget the year 2000. I'll never forget 89 either. I was a kid. remember when they said goodbye to the eighties. Hello to the nineties. But I don't remember that one. You know, I do. I do. remember Y2K. I remember that one. the world was going to end. And I'll never forget the, I don't know what year it was, but.

a of years back when the Ohio State kicker missed the kick That was just what two years ago. Yeah, but it was right at midnight. It was so weird. It was right. It was right at midnight. Yeah, I was in Florida for that one at my in-laws. you know, New Year's is always a fun time. I always say I love the but when it comes everything after New Year's it gets cold and dreary, enjoy New Year's. I enjoy Christmas. So

good time, a lot of fun games. We got four college football playoff games. I like the way they're set up too, Charlie, where you got one New Year's Eve night and then you got other three New Years during the day and they're one after another. Spread out. Yeah, it's nice. And the college football playoff, this is probably going to be, I would say the best round of games. I liked the last round because they had the home games, but this is a strong round of games. I say that, but you still got the two that could have the bye.

but it's getting pretty serious right now. If we'll say, say that the least. What time is that game tomorrow night? Is it, I think it's like seven 38. Yeah. It was the, it's the one that a couple years ago, they played in the midnight. So It's a state farm marinas to fiesta bow. It's out West. I guess slim chance that maybe we, really do bring in the new year with

College football game. that game a couple of years it was kind of cool where it happened right there at 12 o'clock. That was cool. I had Ohio State and I needed that kick. If you remember me telling you I had that, I'd got Ohio State at like 10 to one on a future right before they weren't going to make the playoff and then they got in. I felt like everybody kind of felt like going into that game, especially after TCU upset Michigan and Michigan outplayed on that. Whoever won that Georgia.

Ohio State game was going to win it. And that last second field goal that just it was a horrible attempt. You remember the boy choking Charlie? It was bad. I get it. Pressure is real. That boy choked bad. Pressure is real. I've seen in the NFL with the Bengals this week. It was a horrible kick. I didn't want to talk about that, Anthony. I had I feel like I got bad beat three times during that game. Yeah, Denver

I had him plus three and a half. you've had a couple of rough ones likely on some bad beats. This week. Yeah, this week I had Miami. had Miami and Cincinnati literally back to I had University of Miami there in the bowl game. And then I had Cincinnati, which is pretty much happening. I think they were on at the same time. It was like back to back when they ended. both of those got me. But like I said, Cincinnati.

I feel like I got bad beat at three times. You probably got a little luck at some point in that game, but you definitely got bad beat in that game. You did. It was back and forth. That game was an emotional roller coaster. me as a Bengals fan, at one point I texted you and I said, just not the year. Just not the year. I I out of the miss field. yeah. you imagine how horrible that guy felt, how horrible the team felt. thought night had a bad beat with, Jaden Daniels.

with that touchdown, man, I thought you had it a couple times. And the regulation overtime stopped at the one and the two. I thought both times you could have had it a second time. He got popped. Didn't he? And if he didn't get popped, he was getting the other guys were kind of stopping him and he was wiggling his way through there he stuck him. And I don't, think if they don't get that penalty, I think they might try the quarterback sneak again. One of probably five times this whole year that I've a player prop.

And I had him, Jayden Daniels touchdown parlayed with a money line. I it was Washington money line. And then Jayden Daniels over 50 Russian yards. had like 128 Russian yards. Did you see that? Yeah, no, did. I had him over 50. He got 128. Maybe we need to start looking in the player props. I don't do them. I'm an old school better. I've told you that I'm, don't even buy points. Hardly very rarely do I buy points, but maybe we need to look into the player props.

I've never been over and under guy, Charlie. I really haven't. But I haven't. feel like I've been doing pretty good with them. So I'm sticking with them. So never been big on the player props, but I do mess with them a little I first started doing the player props in the Super Bowl years ago. Actually, the I think maybe the first player prop I ever bet was when Kansas City was in their first Super Bowl. I bet Patrick Mahomes to score the first touchdown of the game. And he did.

I mean, it was cool because it was, don't know, it was 10 to one or 12 to one. So was pretty good odds on that little bet, but I just, I've bet them in the super bowl before, but until this year, I really haven't ever bet them in just games throughout the year. But I've bet about four or five of them this year. I like, I like betting the touchdowns touchdown, anytime touchdowns first touchdown of the game is where you get good odds. That's where you get the good, you get good odds, but your bet can also be done.

about 10 minutes. Sure. I always remember that one. I talked to you right for their super. I didn't even know you could bet the color of the Gatorade and you said I've been hearing that it's this color. I'm pretty sure it was blue. He had good information. He was spot on. I like, why didn't we load on this? It was like three or four to one. Yeah. Why don't we load on this? want to say that was maybe three to four years ago

That's, that's wild. They even let you bet on it. It is. Cause you know, the team knows.

Yeah, they know and I they're the ones that get to pick it. Wonder if you know Vegas calls them in says hey we got so much this way let's let's pick that joke over there. Yeah change it up. There's probably a color of every joke they know what joke to pick.

get into all the football stuff here in just a little bit. But Anthony, you want to start off with this toy bracket? I know we've kind of done this the last couple of weeks. We're down to the final four. think we should Go ahead and knock this out before we get into all this football action, because we've got a bunch. Let's rock and roll. So toy bracket guys, for those who have not been keeping up, we are down to the final four. Nintendo is going up against the bike.

That's the one seed against the four seed and then tickle me. Elmo is battling GI Joe. So one, two, three, four, making it through to the final four. We'll start with the Nintendo and bike. like I said last episode. I think the bike got a little bit of a bad seed.

I believe the bike should have been the two or three seed, but it didn't work out like that. So they got stuck here with a bad matchup to go to the championship. I love my bike. Love my GT performer. Love my, my diamond back Viper. I was a big bike guy when I was a kid, to 15. That's all we had Charlie. 10 to 15. I was, if I was not playing basketball or football or baseball,

I was on my bike. think about it. We lived outside a lot more than the generation today. So that was our wheels. Yeah. My parents didn't let me stay inside and play the Nintendo when it was nice outside. No, when I got home from school, my ass was outside until the street lights came on, whether I liked it or not. The thing is, when we were kids, that's what we wanted. Now we didn't have, you know, to be fair, we didn't have

this iPad right here sitting in front of our face with all that information and Or be able to play video games with your buddies online. I get it. The games changed. But as a parent, you got to fight it. And my parents would not let me be inside if it was a nice day. remember many times my stepdad coming by and hitting the button, unplugging it right there in the middle of my game, telling my ass go outside. it was just a different generation. So I was riding my bike.

but once it did get dark, I was back on the Nintendo. I'll tell you something else you didn't do. I feel like everybody's parents were this way in that generation, Charlie. You didn't leave the door open. You didn't let the air out, You did not let the air out. Maybe it just was my parents. try to spark a little nerve over here because my kids keep my door open all the time.

Did your mom, did she get on with y'all for that? Hell yeah. You get your ass busted Dude, Were you born in a barn? You heard that before? My mom used to always say, I'm not cool in all of Shively. what she always I'm not cool in all of Shively.

All right, Nintendo on bike. I'm going to go with Nintendo. I love the bike.

I still got to go with Nintendo though. think you said it last week, toy of our generation. it's maybe not technically a toy, but you know, it was to us. If you grew up in the eighties and nineties, Nintendo was the whole world we live in, the computer world, it was essentially a computer, technology, the games.

I mean, you could say Atari, but Nintendo's the one that brought it into the mainstream. Atari was the great, great grandfather. Nintendo was the one that brought the idea to life. And Nintendo still, Nintendo's iconic. You get a lot of old people, probably a lot of these old people are dead now, but they were like at my family. They caught everything in Nintendo.

it could be a Sega, everything after Super Nintendo, a PlayStation, everything was a Nintendo. Cause I guess it was a brand new thing to them, it's almost like everything's a Coke. Yeah. you're drinking soda in certain part of the country, a lot of people just call it Coke. Yeah. My grandma, she was country as hell. She'd say, get that damn Nintendo or something like that.

She'd always, you know what? My grandma wasn't my grandma used to love our company and she always made sure she had a Nintendo there with all kinds of games. She knew how to get her grandkids that way. Well, I pulled out my, my Nintendo. It's actually sitting right over here. I pulled it out last week for my son. We, we messed around with a little bit of RBI baseball. I was busting that ass. could not. They, these kids, their games are so high Xbox or a PlayStation controller has like

16 buttons on it. The Nintendo has just a directional pad and two buttons. That's it. He couldn't figure it out. Did you take the American League or the RG just take a regular team? He wanted the American League. So I took the National League. I would love to see a homerun by Konseco and McGuire on there. He couldn't figure it out.

He couldn't figure out how to get to the ball. Couldn't figure. How do I throw it? How do I throw it? How do I run the second base? hear me. You only got two buttons. Hit one of them with the direction towards the base. It just couldn't seem to figure it out. Did you ever they can figure out this fortnight where you've got 20, you got a hundred different weapons and you can change them and you can switch this and switch that. did you ever when you played RBI on some hitters?

It made, I guess it made your bad speed a little quicker. I don't know why I did it, but you would almost kind of like half cock your bat on some of the hitters. Yeah. Charlie was accidentally doing it. he made you quicker to the ball. And then cause they go still at home runs like he was a couple of them because he was, timing it upright. And then Nathan my middle son got on it and he was starting to get mad because you know, Nintendo's fast pace.

when you play a baseball game on PlayStation or something now, it's more paced like the actual baseball game. You play RBI baseball. Next guy's up. pitch it. I mean, once you pitch it, it's right back and you're pitching again. my middle son was pissed. You're pitching too fast. I'm not ready. I said, well, you just got to get ready. All you got to do is hit the button. Just be ready to hit the button. They couldn't figure it out, man. Eight-year-old and 11-year-old, you would think they'd

pick it up easy, couldn't figure it out, busted that ass. You remember RBI baseball was the black tape, which was kind of unique. There was only a few tapes out there that weren't the traditional gray. And the Zelda was gold. was a few black ones out there, but there wasn't many. You know what happened though? I was busting his ass like 10 to one in the fourth inning. Yeah. Game froze up. Oh yeah. He jerked. Did he jerk on it? No, happened. We used to do that. We'd play in a friend, we'd get in our ass wood. Oh, my bad, my bad.

No, but it froze up. said, what happened? game over. Game over. It didn't save where we were. We can't turn it back on and get back to where we where we ended there. What was that? It's kind of funny. Was that game, Jeannie? What was the item that came along late there that allowed you to save? I game Jeannie took you to boards. What no item would the game allow you to say where you were to? I don't think so. I know if you wanted to beat a game, you had to beat it that night.

Or did you ever leave your Nintendo one overnight? Oh, yeah. Yeah. They save a Some of the games you got codes to get to certain levels. Yeah, but you had to have the magazines for those. Yeah. I never was. I never was locked into that world. You did have to have the magazines. That was the only way. Yeah. There was always that kid that had all the codes. I had one or two magazines. I didn't have a bunch of them, but I do remember having one or two. It might have been Zelda, actually. No, Zelda. You needed a magazine.

did you ever try to leave your game on? Cause you wanted to save your spot and then you went out, you know, did something and your mom turned it off on you. Oh yeah. Ready to kill her. Ready to kill her. But what was the real chances that thing was still going to be working when you got back anyway? A lot better than if my mom touched I remember one time, I didn't backtalk my mom. My my ass, but I'll never forget one time she did it and I just fired into, I don't even know what I think I went.

had an out of body experience or something. I think my dad jerked me up, beat the crap out of me, but she turned it off and I just flipped. And then I looked up and said, what did I just do? Yeah, about to get my ass whopped. All right, you got Nintendo. Yeah, look, I'll tell you what, I do think this should be the championship match. Me too. The bike's a great opponent, To have one of those bikes back then, it was a big thing.

I ended up getting like a Mongoose or a Predator later, but in their heyday when they were really a thing, I was still rocking the Swin. So I, we rode a bike, but there was a lot of times a lot of my buddies live real close to us. So, we were just walk across street or whatever. So yeah, we use bikes. We definitely used them, um, my brother would just take them out of part and still parts. My brother was that guy. So, all right. Nintendo moves on.

last final four matchup, tickle me Elmo, the two seed against the three seed GI Joe, the classic, real American hero, real American hero. Still, still pumping the GI Joe's out to this day. Even though my son, neither one of my sons even knew what a GI Joe was. Have I failed it as a father? Yeah, that was my toy. All right. Well, wait until Rex comes over here. I'm gonna ask him if he knows. don't know. You better go. I failed too.

Charlie had no clue what a GI Joe was. They even made the movies later. They were pretty good movies. They were prefer, I mean, for what they were, for what they were. I never saw the movies. Yeah. They were like, you want to surround sound. You wanted like a nice TV at the time. It was that kind of movie, but it, you know, it was pretty good for what it was. So who you got? GI Joe was the toy for me when I was a kid. That's what I wanted. That's what I couldn't go with nothing else. GI Joe was it for me. It's iconic.

It's, it's going to have a rough time when a 10 dough, but it'll go down swinging. If it makes it, I'll take GI Joe. Y'all probably going to call me a bitch for this and whatever. I'm going to go with tickle me. Elmo. I've been calling. I've been calling it since the beginning. Look, this was a toy bracket. The hottest toy bracket is what it was supposed to be. That's what I'm going by. I remember tickle me. Elmo being

Just a huge craze in the malls people fighting on the news It was the first one I remember as a 13 or 14 year old So I'm gonna go with tickle me Elmo I know you probably sitting over there thinking you know I sleep with a tickle me Elmo or whatever I don't anymore but I Think it the second hottest Christmas item

Maybe the first that I can actually remember. So I'm to, I'm going to take tickle me. Elmo here. I guess we're going to have to go to the phone lines. Real American hero the doll. All right, let's go to the phone lines.

All right, we got Chris on the line. Chris, you're going to be our tiebreaker here for our second final four matchup. Just to let you know, Nintendo just advanced. They took out the bike. Probably should have been our championship matchup, but the selection committee fucked up a little bit on that. So Nintendo and the bike just battled in the final four. Nintendo won pretty convincingly. What do you think about that? First thing.

was definitely my championship match up there. So glad I didn't have to break that one, but I was definitely leaning NES for sure. Yeah, we just figured that the Nintendo was pretty much the toy of our generation, know, 80s, 90s. So we felt like the Nintendo had to go through. I was a big bike guy. I don't know if you were, but I rode bikes all the time. So it was a tough match up for me. Oh yeah, definitely.

All right, but you get to you get to break the battle between GI Joe and tickle me Elmo Anthony picked GI Joe if you've I know you've been listening the last couple episodes This was supposed to be the Christmas toys

So I, I know everybody's going to call me a bitch, but I picked Tickle Me Elmo because I remember Tickle Me Elmo being a huge craze in the mid nineties. I remember people fighting in the malls over them. So I picked Tickle Me Elmo. Anthony's got GI Joe to go to the championship to probably get their ass kicked by Nintendo. Who you got? Well, I love your Winkle, but I got to go with Anthony on this one. GI Joe.

The real American hero. I knew it. I should have called a girl.

experience.

16 years old so wasn't much in my wheelhouse but you didn't have a tickle me Elmo I can't say that I did man don't think so I never had one either I just remember the craze I remember people fighting over them and moms and moms fighting in the malls Charlie Charlie was fighting over him in the malls with his mom

Yeah, and they're still around. I believe they're still selling. just told Anthony Anthony though. I think I'm a failure as a father because I mentioned GI Joe around both of my sons the other day and neither one of them had a clue what I was talking about. Hey, you got a little older son. I'd like to see if your son knows about GI Joe's. Did he play with GI Joe's?

Yeah, I see see you know if the kids play with more GI Joe's and stuff maybe the kids would grow a little bit more patriotism I mean, playing with GI Joe's watching Rocky for you grew up Proud of the USA and stuff. I did proud American

Yeah, I definitely watched the cartoon a lot as a kid. I did. Yeah, I'm a bitch. Whatever. Just say it. Tickle me Elmo gets beat GI Joe's moving on. Chris. Thanks, man. We appreciate All good. Enjoy listening, guys. Keep it up. All right. Thanks, man. Later. All right. There you go. I knew that was going to happen. need to call

I need to call my little sister. Yeah. Not your mom or somebody. Kelly would have picked tickle me Elmo for sure. But let's tell the truth. Now that that rounds over. Were you in there? Were you one of the ones on the news fighting for the tickle me Elmo? No, I wasn't. I seriously just, it was the first one. I remember it, Charlie. I remember it. All right. Well, this should be quick. Yep. Nintendo against GI Joe game over

This bracket was over before it started really. The bike was a solid match up for it and I say it was a really close match but it really wasn't. Nintendo, Think about how everything revolves around technology He made me think of it when he just talked about how that was the first action figure. But think about how our whole world revolves around our kids playing games and technology. It was first man. It was the first real one. other ones were ideas.

That was the first one to bring it to life. Yeah. And the first one to bring the handheld too, cause they came out game boy. Yeah. A couple of years after that with the game boy, which was big too. Cause that was the first one you could take in your hand and go with you, man. That was really cool. The Nintendo switch. Yeah. I mean, it's maybe it is a little closer matchup because I'll say Chris did make a good point that I didn't really think about with

GI Joe kind of being the grandfather, as you would call of the action figure. The cartoon was huge. Every action figure that is out right now probably owes a little bit to GI Joe. I agree with that. Yeah, same could probably be said for Nintendo. So, know, probably maybe a little bit closer than we're actually saying, but look at...

I said it from the beginning. think anybody that heard the bracket at the beginning probably had a good idea that Nintendo was going to be here at the end. So it's always going to be Nintendo for me. I said the bike was probably my favorite. Present that I got for Christmas, but I was 11 or 12 years old compared to six when I got the Nintendo, so a little bit different. I remember getting the Nintendo and it was awesome. It was great.

something about getting that bike that GT performer though. You were proud of it. It was like, it was like a, for us, it was our car, you know, and then, but you had a good one too. Nintendo is it man. Nintendo takes the crown. If you had a swing, you weren't as proud of it. No, I liked my bike. My bike was good.

All right. Well, let's now let's get into the serious stuff. We'll get into the college football since that starts tomorrow. Let's do that first.

Anthony, anything would you want to get into college football wise before we dive into that Penn State game? So super excited guys, kind of sad at the same time, because I know this is the beginning of the end. me, I love college football. I've got in the NFL a lot more than I thought I would. I've always watched NFL, kept up with it, but I've never really really got into it. I had this year.

did a little bit last year too. So NFL is growing on me. I definitely see why people are attracted to it. I'm still a college football guy at Hordo. So it's kind of sad beginning of the end, but at the same time, it's the playoffs. We've never had one. So we got four great games this weekend, even though maybe a couple of them think are mismatches, but four great games.

besides that in college football, before we jump into them, you got all the portal craziness going on right now, Charlie, just wanted to touch on that real quick. You know, Kentucky, they're pretty much starting over a lot of new players, but you can do that with the portal now. it's, it's the wild, wild west right now in the portal. A lot of the bowl games that aren't in the playoffs, many opt outs in them, like we talked about,

not so much opt-outs, transfers, because there actually hasn't been many opt-outs. say that. They say the opt-outs are way down this year, but the transfer portal was open, which is really a bad idea of a college football. But, they've talked about just having a spring-only portal, but then they're saying the players would miss spring practice, the players brought in, and then the portal that's open now, players feel like they want to get in it and get a jump on it before the players enter it that's coming out of the playoffs. So...

One rule I do want everybody to know that I found out today, if you're in the college football playoff and you want to enter the portal, closed December 28th, but if you're still in the playoff, once your last game's over, you got five days to get in the portal. only other thing that I would like to touch on with the portal is there's reports that that Dylan Raula, the guy down at

he was a five-star recruit out of Georgia. He was originally committed to Georgia. Nebraska ended up buying him up in the 11th hour. He had a really good year, freshman year, and supposedly there's a $12.5 million offer for him to play college football that's outside of Nebraska. So I'd say Nebraska probably got to get close to it. Who do you think it is, Charlie? What'd you guess? I'm surprised it hasn't leaked yet. Yeah. I would say it's Ohio State, Oregon.

Ohio State or Oregon, maybe Georgia. You know, they're all probably gonna go out and buy them a quarterback. But just with that huge offer, I'd like to think it's Ohio State. maybe Notre Dame. Oregon's got big money. Dabo. Yeah. I did. Somebody did tell me that they think that he might use the portal this year or something. He better. Yeah. He did a good job this year coaching old man for what he had,

When times change, you better change too, There's no doubt. So, that's the craziness that's going on in the portal. I just thought we'd touch on it.

Essentially what's happening in college football is what the NFL was. Football without a salary cap is you get a handful of teams that dominate. But I will tell you in the NFL right now, I've been bragging on the NFL for the past five years or so that the parity in the NFL is so teams are close. But I do, now look, there's still a lot of parity in the NFL.

feel like they're starting to lose a little parity they have, not that they're losing all of it, But I feel like there's starting to be a little bit of a gap between the good teams and the not good teams. I feel like there's not a lot of middle anymore. Seems like there was a lot of bad teams this year. There was, yeah. In the NFL. a lot of two-win teams, three-win teams. There's a bunch of two, three-win teams. Yeah. What do you, do you think anything's leading to that, Hard to say.

I do think quarterback play maybe I don't know the quarterback play is down. think overall. Yeah, overall you maybe the numbers of them. Maybe everybody don't have a good quarterback or a serviceable quarterback Well, like we've talked about it. I think the quarterback position is changing a little bit. You know what really a little bit. I think it's kind of changing a lot.

Not a lot of stand in the pocket guys that want to throw the ball downfield, fit it into tight pockets on a one on a three step drop or a five step drop. It's just not that's not there's about four five of those in the league. That's all you got. Everybody else wants to get outside the pocket, extend the play one to two seconds and then make a play, which I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it. That's part of football.

So no doubt. Maybe that has something to do with it. And I just feel like the game's changing. Does that have anything to do with a bunch of bad teams this year? I don't know. There's a lot of bad quarterback play. Yeah, there is. You know, I hate to say that I'm a pocket passer guy. If you listen to this show,

I'm not a big fan of people running around, because I don't think they're what I call true true quarterback reads the defense, but there's a skill to that. Reading the defense, fitting it in here, fitting it in there, To me, these guys aren't very accurate. They run around, but the reason they're, so this is my two You almost gotta be a running quarterback in today's NFL. It's almost too much of a disadvantage not to be.

with the way that they protect the quarterback position, the way you can't hit them on the sidelines, with the way that, all these things they do, you know, do to protect the quarterback, quarterbacks don't get hurt no And so that was the big thing against not being a running quarterback back in the day. You can only take so many hits and then you're gonna get hurt. that's why pocket passers, they lasted longer, they were more valuable.

There was running quarterbacks before, but they would always get injured. And in today's game, that's what it's about. I don't like it, but it is what it is. I mean, some of these quarterbacks are running around for 10 seconds, Charlie, and they throw it to somebody and they throw up their arms. Like they got to, they're this great quarterback. You ain't take great quarterback, dude. You just, you got, you're an athlete that can throw the ball a little bit, but you're not accurate. You can't take a three step drop and throw it right to where you need to do it. You'd get picked off a lot, but it is what it is,

that's just my two cents, You know what I think it could be, O? I think it could be this. Me and you had been talking about, we'll touch on it a little bit more when we get into the NFL. I'm not sure the coaching is great right now. Now I think they're good at maybe certain aspects of it, but time management, I can tell you that. There are a lot of below average coaches in the NFL for time management. And you might ask, who am I? I'm just.

sitting here doing a little podcast. I'm a nobody. I agree. I promise you, I'm better at time, time management and a handful of those guys. Cause a handful of those guys in the NFL are struggling with time management and the whole world seeing it right in front of our eyes. I see it. NFL coach. You're supposed to be the best man. I struggle with like understanding that. So it is what it is and we can get more into that. But let's like, like we said, we got off topic there a little bit, but let's

Going to college football. You excited about the game, Charlie? Heck yeah. Can't wait, man. This is going to be some good ones. I hope they're a little little bit better than last week with the outcomes. Hopefully they're a little bit closer games. So I know we had some some blowouts last week, but and we might have some blowouts again, but I hope they're a little bit closer

I hope three of them. it will be though. I do. I think it'll be a little bit, a little bit better. Hopefully some of these, let's just get into it. Let's just get into it before I start bragging on any of the teams. I just hope they're close. It's fun. I'll just be straight up. Hopefully Boise state and Arizona state can show up. Yeah. So this is what I like. I don't want the games to be close. I want them to all be blowouts, for the

teams that I'm picking. So yeah, that's a hell of being close. I like the, the no brainers. I like when you're with, look, I've told you before watching Kentucky basketball, Kentucky football, or my team, they are funner games when they're close. It's not fun to be close and there's nothing better than a awesome game. Like, okay, I had the Bengals the other night and all that up and down, which was took years off my life, but all that up and down and then you cover, that's the best. But getting to that point that

It's stressful and if you lose, that's the worst, so I was on the other side of that. So I get all right. So let's get started, guys. first game, it's the only second round playoff game that will be in the year 2024. It will start in the year 2024. It might end in the year 2024, but there's a chance it will end in the year 2025. So

The game I think is going to start at like 738 o'clock. There's been times that train into the new years. a couple of years ago. they missed that field goal. were talking about a second ago that was right at 12 o'clock. you never know with this one, but the first round, the first game of the second round will be at state farm arena in Tempe, Arizona is what we traditionally call the Fiesta bow. still called the Fiesta bow. All these rounds, games and the next round.

or your traditional bowl games. So in this bowl game, you will have the Penn State Nittany Lions, which just defeated the SMU Mustangs pretty handily. And they will face the Boise State Broncos who had a bye. The Mountain West champs, They're one of those teams that we bitched about having a bye because they played no body. Yeah, they shouldn't have had a bye. It's a bad setup, but.

Penn State's minus 11, Charlie. Anything to you that jumps right off out of the gate about this game? mean, not so much who you think is going to win or lose, but just anything that jumps out to you about the game. The main thing that jumps out is I'm looking at Penn State getting those two pick six last week against SMU. They got him early. The game was 28 to nothing at halftime.

I think that's what's going to be different here in this one. think Boise State's quarterback is a lot more reliable. I'm not going to say he's a better quarterback. I think he's a lot more reliable, better game manager than the quarterback at SMU. So I don't think Penn State is going to have the luxury of getting two defensive touchdowns. I think that'll make a difference early in the game. I think Boise State will keep it close.

just that Boise can keep this game close and not make the mistakes that SMU made in the first half because that game was over at halftime. Sure. No, I agree. You didn't have a shot after that. I tend to believe that Boise won't make those mistakes even though Penn State's defense is

crazy good. Their front is nasty. But know we disagree on this. I think Boise is better than SMU. you know, for me, the first thing that jumps out to me is I feel like this is a different Penn State team. I feel like James Franklin. He just feels different right now. I'm not the only one talking about that. There's other people talking about that. So I'm not going to act like I take credit for that,

James Franklin just, it feels different. You know, I've been on him all year about not winning the big game. No, I mean, that's been the story. Well, his story, he beats everybody else. loses to Ohio State, Michigan. That's who Penn State, they beat everybody else. They beat the crap out of everybody else. It ain't everybody else. It's Penn State, Michigan. He has trouble with, and that's who you got to get through in the big 10. but I've always felt like he hasn't had the same kind of talent that Ohio State has in Michigan the last couple of years.

But I'm gonna tell you, when I watch this Penn State team, I think they're pretty good. So let me dive into the game of what I think happened. So this is the first game of the second round. Penn State is minus 11 over and under is 53 and a half. Both teams look like they're pretty healthy going into the game. If there's injuries, were injuries that were already there. So there's nothing to be said on that part.

the game will be in Arizona. That's a pretty good ways for Penn State. Boise State, it's still a decent ways, but it's a little closer than Penn State. I would say Penn State probably has.

fan base that follows them a little bit better. it might be equal. might say slightly Penn State just cause it has a lot bigger fan base, but it should be a I think Penn State's fans are going to travel for this. Do you think so? But Boise might travel because maybe, you know, there are a big underdog in this game. So they might think this is the only one. Although that Boise's fans are definitely going to be there. There are smaller schools. So yeah.

Penn State's got way more fans and I think they are going to travel because I think Penn State's been waiting for this man. Do you think old Penn State, if you're a Penn State fan, I know you don't want to do this as a fan but human nature, they're 11 point favorite. Do you think they think maybe?

Hey, we'll pass on this game right here and save our money for either next round or the round after that. You can't go to a mall. Can you? Nope. Or they could say this game is probably a little cheaper than the next game. Let's go to this one. That's right. You you never know how it would play out, but yeah, I mean, you can't, unless you, unless you're rich or you know, you just got a ton of money at your disposal. You're probably not going to all three games if they make it to the championship or, for not unless you're a pick and choose. No, no doubt. And not unless you're a nifty line, a holic.

Kind of like Chiefsaholic. Not to change the subject, but look, I didn't get into it. We'll save it for another show. I watched a I guess, documentary, whatever it was on Prime, Amazon Prime. Y'all remember the story a couple years ago, about a year ago, the chief super fan, the wolf, he ended up being like a bank robber, and like that's how he paid for his funding, his gambling. And dude, that was a great documentary. If you ain't seen it, check it out. It's on Prime, so.

There you go. But it, no, was, getting into the game. So we don't, we don't feel like nobody's going really have a home field advantage on that end. It'd be on the turf, which, I don't feel like favors either team so for me, I'll get started with what I think is going to happen.

Look, I've tried to like Boise State in this game because I do not want to get caught just I mean, you know, right out of the gates. I like Penn State, but I really have tried to be careful with just not making my mind up and get, know, and just have my mind made up. So I really went into it with open mind. I had no problem picking Boise State, And I really tried to find a way to like Boise State. I just couldn't find a way.

Boise has to run the ball to make their offense work. That quarterback, in my opinion, is not good enough to Boise's been successful. They've played nobody, in my opinion. They did play Oregon, but Oregon is really the perfect matchup for Boise against Oregon, because Boise's really good at running the ball, and Oregon, that's the weakest part of their team, is their run defense. Their pass defense is good, but their run defense is horrible. Penn State ran it on Will, and I'm in the...

in the Big 10 championship game. And that was the second game of the season. Tez Johnson went for negative three yards in that game. far as the receiving end. Tez Johnson's our superstar receiver now. Evan Stewart was the one that had the big game in that game. So I think that's something that they're going to target Tez Johnson at least 10 times.

track athlete out there. I'm just saying that's talking about Oregon. I think Boise State benefited from that. That's the argument I'm trying to make and not being able to stop the run. But I don't think Oregon was the same team the second game. And I keep saying Oregon because that's really the only game I can go by with Boise State. Everybody else, I really can't, I can't compare nothing from them because they haven't played nobody. They literally UNLV. I mean, that's about the only other team. So for me, Penn State,

man, they're playing good football. that Boise game where Boise played Oregon tough Oregon for whatever reason only passed the ball. I think 21 times. was 18 of 21. That's actually really surprising because if you remember that game, Boise was leading that game for a little bit there in the first half. Yeah. What were they up?

It was back and forth, but I know what you're saying. They kind of had like a seven point lead or something like that. a little bit. For a little bit there. No, did. I want to say they were up more than that. It was the second game of the season. Maybe they just thought that they wanted to be a running team. maybe they didn't understand how good of a passing team. Dan Lanning is kind of a, he comes from that Kirby smart tree of where you run the ball and play defense. Maybe he just didn't realize what he had yet. I did hear things that his offensive line was a little unhealthy at that time and stuff, but.

But he only passed the 21 times against Boise, which seems like you could pass it against Boise against these are the other big games organ faced against Penn State. passed it 32 times against Michigan, 34 against Ohio State, 34 against Wisconsin, 31 21 against Boise. That's the, you know, that's it. Like you said early in the season, maybe they, you know, maybe they hadn't figured out exactly what they were or what they wanted to be at that point. Yeah.

For me, look, I could be wrong. don't see a way the Boise can beat Penn State because I don't see a world Ashton Gentry can just, I think UNLV really shut Ashton Gentry down again. they focused on him and they shut him down and they almost got beat in that game. Now the second game he did a little better, but that first game, that was the game plan. They took him away. I just don't see a world in which Penn State don't stop him. I think they'll play

Heavy in the box. I don't think a Boise quarterback can do nothing about it. DBs are good enough to still be able to guard what Boise has. And I think they'll take Ash and Gentie away. I do. I really do. at that point, I don't see a way the Boise covers, but guess what? I'm not no genius. So I'm going to take Penn State minus the points. That's what I'm going to It would really surprise me if they don't cover that. They probably will because I feel that way.

Like I said, I think Boise can keep this close early in the game without making the big mistakes that SMU made. Boise has, I think, for third best scoring offense in the country. Now you make a good point. They didn't play anybody, but they do put points on the board and

They scored, how many they scored against Oregon? 34. They scored in the thirties. I think it was 37, 34. Indiana put points on the board too, until they put it to will say Boise didn't score that much against UNLV in that championship game. think they only scored 20 or 17 or something. And that's the game where Gentie had a better game. The first games were that UNLV really kind of shut him down. Gentie is going to get his, now when I say get his, hundred yards, but

I think the guy averages like 180 or something. Big, time. A lot of carries too. Yeah. He's done. So maybe he's not going to get his a hundred yards. I see him getting, you know, I do see him being successful early in the game. They're in trouble if he only gets a hundred yards. I think so. really do. Right. Cause he needs, they need way more than that out of him. He's averaging one 80 or somewhere in area. Yeah. It's close to 200. So a hundred's not going to do it.

Penn State's gonna wear him down.

At first, man, I thought this was too many points. You know, I was really big on Penn State. It might be too many points. I feel the way Penn State last week. Yeah, I don't love them that much this week. Sure. I like them to win this game. I definitely like them to win. but I'm not as confident as I was last week with the spread being in double digits.

But ultimately when it gets to the second half, Boise hasn't seen that that schedule that you're talking about.

It's going to catch up to him in the second half because they have not seen anything like Penn State's front. Now, maybe Oregon's front was a little bit comparable, but I'll tell you, when I was watching Penn State last week, their defensive line stood out to me. Big time. That's some of you quarterback Jennings. He never seen nothing like that. You could tell He just, he never seen nothing like that. Penn State's going to stack the box as they should, and they're going to make

Boise State's quarterback beat him and he won't do it. I like Boise to keep it close, but I'm going to take Penn State minus the points. you know, you really try to keep an open mind with this stuff because, these are the last college football games for me. I'll probably bet a little heavier on them. I'll be honest with you, Charlie. There's a piece of me and I know this sounds stupid, but I almost like expect one of these underdogs to be able to

to stay with them. guess there's a piece of me in the back of my mind like, well, one of these underdogs is going to make a game of it. I will say this. I do not think Boise is going to benefit. I've always felt like teams like Boise okay, say Boise during the regular season against Oregon. Now I think that's, that was the second game of the year, totally different situation, different scenario, but I've always felt like.

the weaker teams from the weaker conferences always had a big advantage because they would catch people off guard. Sometimes you didn't respect them. I don't know if that's possible in the college football playoff. And it might be, but I'm going to tell you, if you're overlooking anybody in the college football playoff, You got bad coaching because I think when those weaker teams are from the lesser conferences play the teams from the better conferences during the season.

That's a huge advantage people overlooking your underdogs, not maybe not preparing well that week. I just don't think you do that for a college football playoff game. I would hope you wouldn't. so I don't like they have that advantage that maybe they normally would have. if Penn State or Texas is looking ahead. They'll get beat there. That's bad coaching. Yeah, and it's not happening. Yeah, it's not happening.

There's no way you're looking ahead. beat. Look, I say, there's no way I think Boise can win that game. They can win. They're going to line up and play the football game. are Penn State's coach, I would just point to the organ game. Now look, I see flaws in that game, some angles think, well, it just perfect matchup. And I'm telling you all that.

But if I was Penn State's coach, I wouldn't say a word of that. If you're Penn State's coach, you're pumping Boise State up like the best team you ever There's no doubt. There's no, I would definitely, I would, I would point to the organ game. That's what I point to. You can't come to your team and act like, this is a definite winner. This is a router. We're looking forward to the next game. You just can't do that. as much as I've been on James Franklin for not winning the big game.

think he's a great coach. this might be the year that he gets over the hump. That doesn't mean win at just winning a couple of think if he wins this game, think if he makes it, wins this game, gets to the final four, that's good for Penn State. Now I think they still got a chance. Yeah. Yeah. It I'll say this. I thought, think it's cool. Cool angle, after the Maryland game,

that was his buddy coach of Maryland. And did you see the argument they got in after the game? No, you talk about Loxley. Yep. So supposedly I think Penn State's quarter, like touchdown or something. And his buddy didn't like it, I guess. And they had a few words heard somebody say, well, cause stood his ground and kind of popped back at him. and somebody said, that's the Franklin we need right there,

the guy Franklin works better as a bad guy. And so, now maybe he's Dark Vader. don't think he's a bad guy. Yeah, I don't either, running with that. He heard Maybe he's running with that angle. that's what he I tell you, they look like they're playing... You know, I went to the Big Ten Championship. They outplayed Oregon. They got beat, but they outplayed them.

They whatever they really high on Penn State if their offense was just a tad offense struggled in that first half of that game last week. Which games SMU SMU's got a really good defense. So really do their defense. A line is good. I felt like their offense was having trouble early in the game. They got those, the defensive touchdowns, what's, took a lot of pressure off of the offense. SMU, I told you, I do not think they

Deserve to be in the tournament. I do not think they deserved it because I don't think their schedule was tight tough enough But I told you I thought they were good enough There's a difference between deserving and good enough There's plenty of teams not plenty but there's a handful of teams that are good enough Ole Miss is good enough Alabama's good enough South Carolina's good enough There's a lot of teams that are good enough if given the opportunity But you got to deserve it too and I just didn't think they were deserving by their body of work but I will say that

I think SMU is a really good team. I was kind of impressed with Penn State did to them. as much as they got those defensive touchdowns, I think they were forced. that boy hadn't seen nothing like that. you seen him, he was running for his life. Dem interceptions was not forced, maybe forced by the defensive line, but man, he threw that shit right I'm not saying that, but you get that call. But just...

by being able to pressure him and speeding him up. the pressure, yes, DBs weren't making any great plays. They were thrown right to him. tell you what, he thought they were on his team or something. He made Clemson's defense look really bad. week before just made some mistakes early So That's where I'm going with Penn State. I like them a lot. I probably like them too much, which is not a good thing. So both on Penn State.

what? Yep. Now you got to wake up. Yep. Hope you're not hungover. That's it. One o'clock, January 1st. We will be in Atlanta, of the Atlanta Falcons. I guess you could be hungover. You just roll over and turn the TV on, right? Just stay there. That's right. first one at is a bed about three thirty after the game's over, maybe half time. They would get up about two thirty to have.

Charlie, it's sad. I'm not doing it this year, but there's been times as an adult having a family where if you, think one or two times I've went to bed before the ball dropped. Like not many, but like one or two times I did that. talking all this shit. have zero plans for tomorrow. Zero. If anybody gets anything to do hit us up. have no plans, but it didn't, it wouldn't matter if I had plans, When you have three kids, you can't, it changes the game. It changes the game. Go out anywhere on.

New Year's Eve. Nobody wants to watch my three kids. It changes the game. Charlie, I've always been blessed in that manner that, I know your parents love Maryland, your father's past, I've always had babysitters. I don't have no excuse. It is. No, is. thank you to my parents, to my wife's grateful there for a while. They fought. They fought over the kids who was going to get on that weekend. not is

I'll be at home with my bourbon bottle in hand and hope to not get too hammered. The kids will be doing what they do. Jumping off the walls. right. right. So, all right. So you'll wake up New Year's Eve morning. You'll try to get your body right. Try to get your mind right. Hopefully you got a winner from New Year's Eve night there in the Fiesta Bowl and we'll ride over to Atlanta, what bowl is that Charlie? Is that the Orange Bowl?

What's what's the orange or peach? Texas? Atlanta is the orange or peach? Peach Bowl? Peach Bowl? Chick-fil-A? Peach? Chick-fil-A. We all love Chick-fil-A. Thank you. That service in the service industry. It is. It is. I went to the hospital the other day. I was sitting there thinking, man, if this hospital was run by Chick-fil-A people, it would be so much better. That's right. And therefore, 12 hours. I won't get into it. but Chick-fil-A.

Employees should run the world. That's right. everyone you go to it seems like it's Services a one so pleasure. that's right in this game, we are going to have the SEC champions Texas Longhorns Will face the big 12 champions? Arizona State Sun Devils Arizona State was actually picked last in the big 12 preseason. That's pretty amazing.

not big on the strength of the big 12, but they're still probably the third or fourth best conference. There's no doubt about that. It's just there's such a big drop off now between the first two. The line opened at 12 and a half. It's now at 13. There hasn't been much movement. A half point, that's not much. Over and under is 51 and a half,

first thing that comes to my mind when I think of this game.

Texas is too much for him. Skatebo. first thing comes to Charlie's mind. A lot of people, Skatebo's been he's been a big thing here recently. a top five runner back in the country. Yeah, he's tough. He ran all over Iowa State. They couldn't tackle him. He was bouncing off tackles. That's what, everybody's talked about that. they said Iowa State had I forget how many missed tackles where he

Look for people that haven't watched Arizona State, I went back and watched a few films on them Scataboos are star. They got a solid quarterback, but Scataboos are star. They feed him, they feed him often. He's pretty awesome. State was playing with them back and forth. Now they did have some turnovers in that game, which I feel like that led to, State pulling away, but Arizona State had a good end to the year.

it was like in the last four games Arizona State had which they really made a good showing I think the turnover margin was like 11 to 1 I think I looked it up the other day like 11 to 1 in the last four games for them Just seemed like everything bounced their way in those games

I think Texas is too much. just do Texas is getting, actually getting Isaiah bond He got hurt at the end of the Georgia game. So he did, he wasn't there for the Clemson game. I Clemson played is about as good as they, could have played, Texas's game plan was to not like club Nick beating with his legs and they didn't, didn't beat them. Clemson has a really good offensive line.

And really what was, know, Texas won that by 14, but really what got Texas when Clemson had success was the crossing routes. And they take a long time to develop those crossing routes too. But their offensive line was able to hold up and give him that time because they had a lot of success with those crossing routes. Their game plan was to keep Club

keep him under control because they felt like that was the only way they could lose a club meeting with their legs. They didn't blitz him, And you know, a lot of those crossing routes were able to develop and they still were able to win that game pretty strongly. They get Isaiah Bond back for this game. He's a receiver that averages 16.1 yards a catch. He's their speedster. their offense looked plenty good enough last week. Arizona State's defense is bad. It's bad. They've been winning because they've outscored people. They're going to have to score every time.

Because I think Texas will score on them every time. State's offense is pretty strong. I think it's a strong offense. I don't think they've seen nothing like Texas's defense. Clemson has. I don't think Arizona State's seen nothing like that. Texas will be able to play a normal defense. And that's kind of what Arizona State does. they set people up with their play action. And that's when Leavitt was able to do what he does. He don't throw it a ton, but when he throws it, he's very effective.

Probably because everybody's coming up to try to stop Sketebou in that conference at that watching that conference play in the bowl games and I'm just not that none of them. Not that they're bad in the Big 12, but I just don't think they're at the same level that what we see in the SEC or the Big 10. I'm going with And once again, I like them a lot.

I don't like that I like them so much. really don't. That's the only part that I'm scared about because I like them a lot, minus 13. do you feel about it, Charlie? feel like Texas is going to do the same thing Penn State's going to do. They're going to stack the box. They're going to try to stop the run and they're going to try to force you to beat them through the Do you think you got, and I'm not saying you're I'm asking this just as, trying to analyze it myself.

I definitely think Penn State to do that against Boise. Do you think Texas has to stock the box against Scudaboo? Not that he won't get some, but just say they are able to, he just does okay. But then they play normal on the pass coverage. I think a guy I have trouble if they don't stack the box. I guess the point I'm making, do you think Texas will have to stack the box against? I mean, they're not going to stack it every play, I do think they'll play aggressive. I do think they're going to play aggressively towards the run.

I actually like Arizona State's quarterback. He's solid. He's solid. He's way better than Boise State's quarterback. He can do way more. I worry about their to help their running game. I worry about their defense. Their offense should be. Well, you said that I'm looking at their last four. gave up 19 to Iowa State. seven to Arizona. Arizona's bad. They gave up 23 to BYU.

and 14 to Kansas State. I it's not terrible. I'm just saying looking at their last four games here to finish the season, they gave up 14, 23, seven and 19. That's not terrible. four games. I think I looked at the other day, they 11 to one on turnover margin last four games. I think that's what it is. It's something pretty crazy like that.

I don't think the big 12 is stacked by any means and I'm not going to sit here and say that I think Arizona State schedule is great, but they played for Bo eligible teams. They They beat Kansas, which we know, which we both know that Kansas was better than their record. They were at that point in the year. I think they caught him at the right time. Kansas. They beat Kansas. They won at Kansas State. They beat BYU.

Iowa decent wins on the record, whether you want to say how strong those wins are Oh, and they beat Utah there. Utah was ranked when they beat them 16th. I'm not saying that is, I don't even know what Utah ended up finishing, but. The combined record of the people they play 64 and 80. 64 and 80. Yeah. Well, yeah. I mean, they played Wyoming, Mississippi State, Texas State.

I bet you those three teams right there probably hurt that average. beat state by seven. I just, I just don't see it with them, but I know you do. And look, Charlie, I give Charlie credit. He got on him. I feel like a lot, three or four games and they really finished it. You want a lot of bets with them there at the end of the year. Yeah. still pissed. didn't bet him to win the big 12, but I have been on them for about three or four weeks now. I'm going to pick them here. Okay. I don't think they win this game. I think Texas probably wins.

But I do give Arizona State a slight chance to win this game. Texas to me has been so inconsistent. I want to like Texas. I want to pick Texas, but something about a man is just not consistent enough for me. Their offense. felt like struggle towards the end of the year in the second half of the season. Last week offense impressed me.

What they scored 38. Yeah. Their offense looked good last week, but their defense kind of 500. Yours offense against Clemson is pretty nice. Yeah. And then, but then, yeah. So I said, like, I love what their offense did. I I'm sitting there watching the game thinking, man, they're this offense that I've been saying has been struggling because I said it for the last two or three weeks. But when I was watching that game against Clemson, I'm thinking, man, their offense is coming together.

They scored 34 against Oklahoma to earlier. I know Oklahoma didn't have the best year, but their defense been good all year. defensively Texas gave up a little bit more than I thought they were. were. It's Clemson. did. thought their defense was going to be a lot stronger Think I might even said they Clemson was only going to score like 10 points. What was the final score of that game? many, how many, uh, 24, 24, the biggest thought it was too many for Texas. The biggest thing I think in that Clemson.

game that and I've watched it not it's those crossing routes to guide them it really was that they were eating them up look those are slow developing plays Texas did everything that not like club Nick beat him with their his their legs so you know they didn't blitzing

They just kind of played conservative in that sense. And Clemson had a good offensive line and those crossing routes were able to develop. But I'm with you on that. I'm not crazy about what I've seen from that defense on that. But they weren't able to run the ball.

I think Clemson played a good game Dabo had them ready. He did. We knew that was going to happen. No, I'm taking Arizona state and the points, man. I get it. I almost feel like I need to take a underdog. I don't know why I feel that way, I might even make a very small, just a little small money line bed on that game. You probably getting what? Plus five, four or five bucks.

I might dabble in that just a little bit. I do think that Texas probably wins the game, but I feel like Arizona state's going to make this a battle, man. I like their coach. I like their quarterback. Love the running back. Just think they got it going on right now, man. And I, I'm going to, I'm going to bank on them to keep it rolling. get it. we're done with two of them. The third game will be

I a little bad blood between

Ohio State fans and Oregon fans, might be, they say there's some bad blood. So the reason there's bad blood for those that don't remember this game happened already. It was in Eugene, Oregon. It come down to the end of the game.

It was the play where Will Howard just let the time expire. They were in field goal could have won it. We were at the Kentucky game, but I went back and watched the replay because it was one of the biggest games of the season. back and forth game. Heck of a game to watch. I watched the whole replay. Didn't watch it condensed. Watched the actual game. I loved Ohio State in that game.

Oregon beat them and Oregon showed they were for real. Now when I went back and watched it, a couple things stood out at I'd heard somewhere the Oregon crowd was one of the loudest crowds they had ever heard. Just watching it on TV. I definitely agree with that. The place was rowdy. It was off the hook. Ohio State was traveling all the way across the country. I feel like Oregon was coming in with a little bit of a chip on their shoulder because a lot of people liked Ohio State that game.

In Ohio those young receivers were still young. Those superstar receivers. Oregon is a team full of veterans, of transfer portal players. I'm not saying Ohio State does not have their share because they do Ohio State's star players are their receivers. The ones are freshmen. They're the best receiver in the country, my opinion, is a freshman, Jeremiah Smith. Going into Eugene, hostile environment, and still probably should have won, in my opinion.

they turned the ball over twice. Oregon had no turnovers. one of them led to a touchdown right away, Now Oregon did get stopped inside like the five yard line. So you got to give them kind of, you know, that's where I do my little points thing in my head. And they had a miss field goal. So, the two to zero turnovers, the home field advantage being so rowdy, have questions with Oregon at times.

big games they played in Boise Boise was able to run all over them. the last game of the season Penn State outplayed them. They were passed it easy on them, but I felt like they even ran it easier. Wisconsin when they went into Cam Randall, they struggled now Tess Johnson wasn't that game. That's a big deal. That's one of organs top wide receivers their top wide receiver, but he wasn't there. It was a rowdy crowd.

and then they played Michigan. Michigan actually gave them a lot, gave them a tough little game. So, you know, outside of the Ohio State game, I think we keep banking on Oregon with the Ohio State game because that game happened. And since then, Ohio State, they've really had a tough schedule this year. Yes, they weren't maybe as loaded as the SEC schedule, but their two hardest games of the year, Ohio States, were on the road and they won both of those. No, I'm sorry, they won one and lost one.

They beat a really good Penn State on a road in a rowdy environment and they lost a very close game, which I think they slightly outplayed Oregon on the road. they also lost to Michigan, very cold game, very windy game. Look, you can cross that game out. In my opinion, you can't. They come back, they whooped the hell out of Tennessee last week, looked like the national game, Michigan, it was a perfect situation. was windy and cold, took the passing game out of it.

Michigan has no passing game. They still had a really good defense. Ohio State also missed a couple field goals, missed opportunities. And, they probably still knew they were in the playoffs. So, think this is the hardest game on the ticket, Charlie. I really do. I think this is the hardest game. The other ones I don't feel like are hard. I kind of like Oregon. I kind of like Ohio State. I kind of like Ohio State. I kind of like Oregon.

I went back and forth with this. know when I was saying what I was saying, it kind of sounded like I was going Ohio State. It's because I am going to go Ohio State. But I'm telling you, this game is super hard for me. This is probably I'm probably playing my other games harder than I played my games in the past. But this is probably the one where I'm going to play normally because it's a hard game. Oregon, those wide receivers, you got to be able to guard them. That's their that's their strength. I'm going tell you, everybody's talking Travis Hunter.

Sanders, Gentie, The best college player, the best college player in the country. If we're just saying college player.

It's probably Gabriel from Oregon. It's just my opinion, but I mean, he's very efficient at what he does. He gots a quick release. He was really good, I think it was UCF, and then he was really good at Oklahoma last year. They had an explosive offense, and he's really good at Ohio State. He's not a big pro prospect. He's a little guy. He don't have a big arm, but he's got a quick release, and he's super savvy, super smart. He gets it to the open guy quick, and those Oregon receivers can run and...

I actually think it's a decent matchup for Oregon because Oregon, can't stop the run, but they got good pass defense. They got two corners that really can guard. They got two high level quarters. And I think it's actually a good matchup for Oregon. I'm going to go Ohio State, but I do think this is a tough game, Charlie.

I went into this one thinking I was going to be on Ohio State and came out of it like an Oregon. I think you might've said this to me maybe a week or two ago that Oregon might be getting a little disrespected. are. They are. think that it might be getting a little bit of disrespect here. Everybody likes Ohio State once again, just like they did the first time. I don't like that. I don't like that.

That Oregon leans on Gabriel a lot too. I mean they put it in his hands a lot. He's actually pretty effective with his feet too. good. Yeah, he is. He's a really smart college quarterback. I think these two teams are really

really similar.

It's going to come down to the coach And I think Oregon's got the better coach. I like Ryan day. I think he's a good coach and maybe he gets over the hump. Maybe he does, but I feel like this is just a very close matchup. I don't know if these two teams could get any closer when you're analyzing the game.

It's about as good as it gets. mean, they played to a what, two, two point game, three point game earlier in the year. I mean, I think that pretty much shows it. It's just going to be a tough one. I will say there one thing about that first game. Oregon did not have that top pass rusher that they got that, uh, defensive end that big defensive end they got. They did not have him in that, in that Ohio state game. I think he's a little overhyped dude. heard about him going into the Penn state game and I feel like that Penn state did whatever they wanted to do.

Boise ran all over him. I think he's going to be able to pressure Howard. Howard had 350 something yards against Oregon last. He ain't going to do that again. think he threw for over 300, maybe close to 350 against Oregon. Oregon's got a really good pass defense. I don't think he does that again. I think the story of the game is going to

they got the best defense in the country I think everybody agrees with that Texas is good There are a couple other good ones, but I think everybody agrees Ohio State's got the best defense in the country I think Ohio State wants some revenge in that game But are they good enough to get it Gabriel So dude, he is the perfect college quarterback. I'm telling you he is the most effective quarterback in the college game I know he don't look it. I don't like him. I like the big throwers the pocket, you

He's like a little shifty guy and he little lefty, but he's super effective. The matchup of the game is going to be Oregon's DBs against Ohio State's receivers. a good matchup. I actually think Oregon, the Ohio state's a good matchup for Oregon. Cause I think the way you beat Oregon, the way you really could expose them is like an old Alabama team or kind of like what Penn state did to him.

They struggle stopping the run. Well, Ohio State's got a double headed. Yeah, but they've got, they've got two good running backs, but they're not the, like the, the Claret running teams or the Alabama. I don't feel like they're physical like that. their game. they just need to air it Will Howard will not throw for three 50 on Oregon's defense again.

their DBs are not going let that happen again. And I think the edge rusher that they got adding him to their defense, I think that's going to make a big difference here. they're going to be able to put a little bit more pressure on Howard

Oregon's got the edge at coach and at quarterback. Give me Oregon. remember this. you like Ryan there or not, Chip Kelly and there's that other guy on their defensive quarter. They got an all star coaching staff, but yeah, far as head guy, I like Dan Lane. I actually like.

I actually like Ryan day. I might talk like I don't, but he's got to have to win the big game to prove it to me. I like the guy. I think he's a good coach, but at some point you got to get over the hump. Sure. get that. Yeah. And he needs to do it. So, you know, kind of think Ohio state might be the best team, but look, I also think that maybe people are sleeping on Oregon and maybe I've been sleeping on Oregon. So

You know, I regret this, but I am, I'm going to take Oregon here. It's also in the Rose bowl much closer to Oregon. Ohio state's going to travel. Of course they've got crazy fans, but I do think Oregon will have a little bit more there. So I think that that's a benefits Oregon a little bit too, but I'm just, it's a game, dude. is a tough game close to me that it's coming down to coach quarterback.

And I think in my has the better coach and the better quarterback. going to Oregon. only other thing I would say about that game, one of the things that drew me to Ohio state, and I do think of Charlie, I think it's super close, do not feel like Oregon.

played nobody outside Ohio State or they just living off that Ohio State game. They played Penn State. Boise Yeah, they almost got beat by them. but they really didn't. mean, beat a playoff team. Yeah, but they, I mean,

I'm looking at your schedule. I can say it's just like I and Penn State. They blew everybody else out. Well, they've had some close ones. Boys. Really? Penn State, dude, was a close game. Penn State. Yeah, Penn State. was the that was the championship game. Of course that I'm talking, you know, throughout this season, they they pretty much blew.

The Boise game was close, know, they blew everybody else out until the 1613 game against Wisconsin. Penn State ran the ball 34 times against Oregon for 297 yards. They averaged 8.7 yards of carry against Oregon. boy dropped that touchdown and then pretty much drew out or through that pick six

That was a bad decision by Howler at the end of the game. They've been attacking the middle on that side end the whole game and running. They couldn't do nothing with last play where Penn State was going down to try to win it. He throws ball to that boy, the receiver, like on a big long fade route. And it's like, that's where Oregon strong, they hadn't been attacking their all game. They've been attacking the middle all game. That was just a bad decision by Howler.

to give up 8.7 on 34 carries. That's a lot of carries. State had 141 rushing against them last game. do think Ohio State might try to run it more this game to try to control the clock. I'm sure Ohio State's defense wants revenge. But will they be able to get it? Are they good enough to take it? I don't know. It's going to be a great game. That's going to be a fun game. So you're on Oregon. I'm on Ohio State. And we both agree that it's going to be close, right, Charlie? Heck yes. Yeah, I do. So all right. that's classic.

so the last game of the playoff. To me, this is another easier one Maybe not as easy as the first two, but you have Notre Dame facing Georgia.

is actually in New Orleans.

Well, that's not that's the night game. See they did that they did that right, right? They give the New Orleans people the the night Yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's right. I'll say it. I've said it on the show all year

I love Kirby Smart. I'm an SEC guy. I think the SEC is best conference top to bottom. The Big Ten is really strong at the top, but I just don't think people understand what it's like to have an SEC schedule. I argue with people in the SMU thing and the Alabama thing. I hate Alabama's not here because I think Alabama would have a shot to win it all. best game might be better than anybody else's.

Now there Anthony knows he pisses people off every time he says it so he sneaks that shit in every time I just don't know I don't know why like there's so many Alabama haters I've heard talked to so many people. it's great. Alabama's not in it Like what do you have against Alabama every time they're there they perform? I'm no alabama same thing that people people don't like the Chiefs people don't like the but I like on Kentucky sure you know people don't like the good team

I guess but you know they perform but in saying that we're talking about Notre Dame and Georgia I've not been a Carson Beck guy all year he got hurt it's not going to be Carson Beck it's going to be Gunnar Stockton that's going to be the quarterback

know, Gunner came in and led them to a touchdown in the second half, and that pretty much was enough for them to win it against Texas. Most people think Texas outplayed them in that game. Left points on the board, mistakes, Georgia's their kryptonite, whatever you want to call it, but Texas outplayed them. They just did, but Georgia won, so that's who won. Georgia's had a lot of games like that this year, against my Wildcats. I thought Alabama made them look super slow in the first half.

They were struggling with Florida until Lagway gets hurt. Ole Miss rolled them pretty bad. I thought Georgia Tech outplayed them. Georgia Tech outgained them by 160 and Texas outgained them last game by 140. I think this is Kirby Smart's best coach in job yet. I do not think this is your prototypical Georgia team that's just great on defense, great on offense. And he'll be back with that. There's no doubt in my mind.

think the guy's the best coach in the game. And that's why I give him a puncher's chance. But that's about all I give him is a puncher's chance. I've been very impressed with Notre Dame. usually Notre Dame is a fraud, But this Notre Dame team, I just feel different about them. the Navy team they embarrassed was really good. the Army team, I don't think was really good.

But I thought they got, you know, best of them. That USC team out in California, once they changed quarterbacks, that was the best version of USC. And USC, I thought, played a great game. And Notre Dame still beat them and made mistakes and still beat them. and then the game that really jumps off to me is the Indiana game. I have a lot of respect for Indiana. I'd argue to say whether they deserved or didn't, do I think they're a top five ball club? No.

But I think they're a top 10 to 15 ball team, yes. And Notre Dame dominated them. They physically dominated them. I feel like they almost hurt them. Georgia's gonna be physical too. But my problem with Georgia, especially with Carson Beck gone, I don't think this quarterback's that good. Now he does give them little bit of a run threat with his legs. And I do think they will play inspired defense because they know they're short. I think Herbiel have them ready.

And that's why I really don't just love Notre Dame, but I do like them. I like them a lot, but I don't love them as much as I do the other games because I give Kirby and just the team playing inspired ball knowing they have a backup quarterback. But I think Notre Dame is good. I like their quarterback. Notre Dame has a chance to win at all. I'm not saying that they're my pick, but I do think they have a chance to win at started off as a one and a half point favorite. They're a one point underdog right now.

I think a lot of people's betting a brand with Georgia and just the SEC success over teams like Notre Dame in the past. I just don't think this is the same Georgia team. And some of these other teams are a little bit different because they've went and got those SEC players in the portal. They're essentially buying their teams now. Now I think the SEC is the best conference top to bottom, but I do think there's a few strong teams out there that really spend money and Notre Dame is one of them. Been impressed. I was really impressed with their

really being creative and just he was a step ahead of the game against Indiana. Maybe he did that because Serenade was known for that. He didn't want to get out coach, but I never seen that from him before. Georgia still has got the better coach. But I'm going to Charlie, I'm to go with Notre Dame right now, plus the one to beat Georgia.

I really like Notre Dame's I heard, I heard. you like him as a person or do you like him as like somebody that prepares? They brought him a lot of talent there and I'm not saying I don't. Okay. I like him as a person. I don't know him as a person, but I like what he's doing, man. As a coach, they've spent, they've spent probably as much money as anybody. Everybody's spending money. Not. Yeah. But there's, yeah, but there's some like the organs, the Ohio States, the Notre Dame.

Now you're not going to give the coach credit for winning. I know I'm not, but like it's like when you're imagine NFL with no salary cap, that's what it is. Is that Notre Notre Dame's of course they're going to the brand. Don't matter much no more. The brand does not. Now the brand gets you money because you got people. You think they're getting a lot of the money. Yeah, that, that, that helps. But players follow the dollars now

everybody's spending money. They're all spending money.

Dude's a good coach. think the NFL is even after him to be honest. Well, he's had some, he's had some, this was kind of, he was on the hot seat coming into this year. kind of been underperforming. They went out and bought him the quarterback the year before. If his seat's hot, then James Franklin and Ryan Day's seats should be,

Way hotter than his. Yeah, but they bring a better reserve results in him Notre Dame. Hey, getting those results now. He is this year. I just like the guy. I actually heard some rumors that the NFL is kind of after him. A few NFL teams have reached out to him. I don't know if that was lately or in the past or what? What do you think? I don't want to get

I like what he's doing with Notre Dame. Notre Dame was the most impressive team last in the first round to me. I don't even think it was close. Notre Dame impressed me big time in that game on both sides of the ball. Really? Yeah. Their defense is legit. Offense look damn balanced. That running back they got is hard to handle. Georgia look.

I'm going to regret this. know every time you go against Georgia, they win. I know, Their offense has been way too sporadic. They're losing their quarterback. Now. It's such an unknown with this other guy coming in. Maybe he comes in and lights them up for five touchdowns and goes and wins the national championship, but I'm not on that boat yet. I hate going against Kirby.

If Kirby's the better coach and he will absolutely have this team ready to play and ready to go in this matchup. You're right. This is not the prototypical Georgia team. This is not offensively. They've struggled defensively. They're not exactly the same as what they were in the last few years, but they still got Kirby. And that means a lot in college football means a lot. I heard a thing that Carson drives a Lamborghini.

the backup quarterback drives the F-150. No lie, I've heard that. I wouldn't doubt it. I gotta take Notre Dame here, man. but I can't just go with Georgia just because I've been wanting like in Georgia. I've said them from the beginning of the year. I hate jumping off of them right here. I really do, but I think Notre Dame...

is really coming together. I think they're a super balanced team. The quarterback's looking good. He's poised. The running back is top four, top three running back in the country. They're hard to handle. Super physical on both sides of the ball. you said they might win it all and they might, but I do think your boy gets over the hump here and gets this win against Georgia.

Please, Kirby, please, please don't kick me in the nuts.

he's able to win it this year, man, it's a legacy builder for sure. I think what he's done so far is pretty They've had a pretty weak offense. had a really hard schedule and they squeaked out a bunch of games. And some people might say it's lucky. I'll say it's good coaching too. So that's all I got for college football, Charlie. I'm super excited. I like the games. I like them a lot. I like.

A few bets a lot and that's probably not a good thing. I know I keep saying that, but it just scares me. But I am going to bet them a little harder than normal. let's, let's go. Let's go. So agreed on to disagreed on too. So we're going to do a Penn State, Notre Dame parlay. Let's ride them. you go. Penn State, Notre Dame. That'd be our blitz. The bookie college football player football parlay there. You'll have to wait cause that'd be the first game on Friday night. Then you're gonna have to wait till the last game to

to go cash your ticket, but I like it. I really do. like Penn State, Notre Dame in that one. I think that's a strong parlay. Yeah, I do too. As long as Kirby doesn't kick me in the nuts. Charlie, I worry about it too. Don't think I don't. I actually like Notre Dame a lot. The only thing that keeps me from loving them is Kirby Smart, dude. I'm fearful of that guy.

All right, let's get into the NFL. Dunno, dunno, dunno, wild, wild week coming Week 18 there's a lot of games that aren't going to matter, but it's just tough figuring out who's playing, who's not playing, who's going to sit there, guys, who's going to rest their guys, who's going to still be looking for the draft pick order and be tanking. It's a tough one. Who's cheating?

Who's cheating and who's not? That's the big question. Before we get into the games for this week, just a little quick recap here. Christmas day. Steelers get pummeled by the chiefs. Sealed everything up. I think for the chiefs, right? They're all sealed up and locked into the one seed with that. So they'll play off if they rest, they'll be

Set weeks, but I think that's what they're going to do. You know, second game on Christmas day. Ravens routed the Texans.

Thursday while I was in the hospital, Seattle wins a barn burner against the bears six to three.

Old school football game right now. It's shitty football. Anthony said two bad teams. love defensive football. Don't get me wrong. defense. was just bad time management decision. Bears has bad coaching. They need to fire the whole coaching staff. They fired the head coach. They need to fire the whole staff fire. Upper management guy didn't even try like a 50, 52, 53 yard field goal to win the game or tied.

Then had a few games on Saturday. Chargers roll, the Patriots, Bengals. Who day? Bengals, get it done against the Broncos. I had the Broncos plus three and a half. I got the triple bad beat there. And then Saturday night, the Rams.

Squeaked it out. Which one was that? 13 to nine against the Cardinals. They got lucky. Yeah. Yeah. They got lucky. They got the interception there at the end. Cardinals were driving to win that game. Tip ball for the interception to close the game out for the Rams. That was another ugly one. But I will tell you this. I'm glad they're winning with their defense. I'm glad. are figuring out, the Rams are winning all types of different ways. Yeah, they are. They are. They're offensive come. They won Stafford's best game. Listen, I love Stafford. I think Stafford's awesome. He's looked awesome this year.

He wasn't on target that game. He missed a lot of throws that game. and that's unlike staffer. And then Sunday the Giants throw up 45 points against the Colts to eliminate the Colts from playoff contention 45 33. That was a big game for me. Just when you think you got everything figured out. Yep. The Giants were sitting at the number one pick and the Colts were fighting to get into playoffs and

The Colts are now out of the playoffs and the Giants are now out of the number one pick. And the Giants look like they're the Super Bowl favorites. The Giants look good. I watched every second of that game. The Giants look good. I hate even saying that, but they really did. I watched that whole game. I had a little interest in that game on the, the eliminator pool that I told you I'm in. Bunch of people had the Colts. So I was watching that when I watched every play. The Giants did, they looked pretty good. I'm not going to get too deep into it because

Giants suck. but Charlie's leak neighbors is I'm not going to say top five yet, but he is in the top 10 receivers in the NFL. That's how good don't fall in love with the Giants. I've done it before. They will disappoint you Charlie. It will do needs to come to the doll. got you. I used to be away with Daniel Jones. I get it drew locks. So I see why they got rid of Daniel Jones. Drew lock is so much better.

My dude was out there making plays. even compared him to Josh Allen. Yeah. He's had some rough games too. I was, I was loving betting against him for a while because he was sucking it up so bad. Eagles roll the Cowboys 41 to seven. Eagles are good bucks beat the breaks off of the Panthers. They still need a win to get in the playoffs, but they're looking good. And the dolphins, my boys, they figure out a way.

to keep theirself in the playoff hunt. I have no clue how, but they beat the Browns 20 to three. We're still in it. We still got a chance. That's the worst quarterback in football right now. The boy from the Browns, the Jackson Robinson from UCLA. He's bad. I seen it at the Bengals game. He can't throw, He's not, he can run a little bit. He's not an NFL arm. He don't have an NFL accuracy. And we didn't even have two and still ran them. then probably the game of the day Packers at the Vikings.

Vikings were rolling in this game. They were destroying the Packers, dominating the game. And somehow the Packers find a way in the fourth quarter to come back. They were down 17 with seven minutes left in the game, Anthony, come back and lost by two. Unless I give them credit for coming back, but I would still give credit to the Minnesota for dominate. Sometimes you get conservative when you got that kind lead. You should because you're trying to.

just get to the end, it almost got their ass. It got their ass. The score in the beginning of the fourth quarter was no fluke. Minnesota was beating their shit out of them. I was watching that one because I needed, I needed the Packers, unfortunately. I think Minnesota is good but I do think it was a good matchup for Minnesota. Minnesota stops to run really well. Packers like to get the run going. So I think it was a good matchup for them, but yeah. Yeah. Vikings win 27-25.

And then the night cap last night was a great game. Went to overtime Falcons and commanders and Jayden Daniels gets it done again with another fourth quarter or overtime game winning drive. I don't know how many he's got. I need to look this up, but he's got to have four or five or six game winning drives in the fourth quarter. Rookie quarterback. I feel like it's got to be a record. It must not be because I didn't hear it.

said during I was watching that game last night, you figure they would bring that up because he's had a handful of comebacks. Jaden Daniels brings him back again. Ends the game in overtime, throws a really good pass there at the end. We talked about threading the needle, throwing in the tight spots. Great throw there to end the game in overtime. Commanders lock theirself into a playoff spot. So it was it was a wild week.

and week 18 is going to be just as wild. half the battle in week 18 though is just going to be figuring out who's playing and who's not. No, that's it. That's it. So we've done a little homework on that, trying to figure out, who's playing for what and who it and hopefully we got it right for you guys. Yep. So we usually do six games. We're going to go through real quick. We're not going to dissect them or nothing, but we're going to, we're going to touch on.

Every game that pretty much matters. We usually do six where we got 123456789 we got nine, so we're going to roll through roll through them quick. Actually, it's eight that matter. There's a ninth one in there that that's not really a playoff contender game or whatever, but it does have some meaning. Will touch on that, but let's get into the first game real quick here. We got two games on Saturday, which I think is weird for the the last week of the season. I.

felt like they always do all those games on Sunday. So everybody's got the same amount of rest, but there is two games on Saturday. Maybe I'm wrong about that. Maybe they have been doing that in the past, but Saturday starting it off early Cleveland at Baltimore. Baltimore has to win to win the division. That's not fair. That game's not fair. It's not fair. Clip Baltimore. This might be the biggest spread of the whole NFL season. You watch Cleveland might

They came. Winston was able to give him a game, but this boy in a way. Yeah, it's there's no way they don't have the offense. Anthony Baltimore's minus 18. I I'm serious. I think that might be the biggest spread in the NFL. I don't think there's been 18 18 is huge. It's probably the biggest spread in the NFL. Probably taking Baltimore. Do you think of Baltimore gets up? But they set their guys. Lamar is going for MVP. and I do think Lamar is a stat stuffer.

at home trying to win the division last game of the year. Place is going to be packed. They're going to beat the shit out of Cleveland. Yep. I like both. actually like minus the 18. I think I'd worry about if they bring him out, but I think with him playing for the MVP and he still has a shot, I think Josh Allen's the favorite still, but he's closed some ground on him. this could come down to this week. So right now let's look at it real quick. 18 is so

It is I'll give it up. Cleveland Cleveland can't score so as long as the Dolphins beat him what 20 to 3 so we won by 17 soon as the Dolphins scored 3 I told my son Rex I was like I think 3 might be good enough up 3 3 not it's over if the Dolphins just went to Cleveland and won by 17 now Cleveland's got to go to Baltimore I think this sets up

for even more of an ass whooping with it being the first game of the weekend, Anthony. It's the first game. They're going to set the tone and they're going to beat the shit out of I think offense is a problem for people and then their defense, you know, been playing better, but it don't matter because Cleveland's offense can't score even, I think even if their defense was bad. So

We both on Baltimore, right? The MVP odds, Josh Allen's minus $3 Lamar Jackson plus 2 45. Josh Allen was just minus like 2 30 yesterday and now he's minus three. So there had been some money going Josh. guess people think maybe he has it wrapped up. I don't know, but Baltimore fans won't like that. Yeah. All right. One more game on Saturday. This is the AFC North special.

Okay. Saturday is all AFC North. So we're starting with Cleveland at Baltimore and then we're going Cincinnati at Pittsburgh. Who day? Who day? Who day? This is a big game. Pittsburgh. Of course they'll already know. Once the Baltimore game's over, but I think they already know that Baltimore is going to win that one. Pittsburgh is locked into a playoff spot. This might be the one thing that I didn't check on Anthony. I'm not positive about.

if Pittsburgh can move up or down, if they don't win the division, are they automatically the five seed? Is their record good enough where they're automatically the five seed or could maybe they drop to the six? So that would be one thing that I'm not positive about. But ultimately Pittsburgh is playing for the division, but only if Baltimore loses to Cleveland. So think the chances of that are slim.

Cincinnati, on the other hand, has to win this game. Yeah, they need some help. Cincinnati has to win. And then they would need Denver and the Dolphins to both lose. And then if that happens, Cincinnati would get that seven seed. So Cincinnati is playing for a possible spot. Pittsburgh playing for a possible division, even though they'll already know the outcome of the Baltimore game at that point. So.

The only other question I would have was is there a chance that Pittsburgh could maybe slide to like the sixth seed instead of being the five. So I'm not really sure about that, So I'm sitting here reading right now and they said that the way the flex schedule was actually set up, it

benefit Pittsburgh, which might mean on rest in the starters. If Baltimore wins that game, they'll wrap it up. And at that point does the Steelers rest their starters.

so they can't drop to the 60. They'd lock into at the five. Is what you're saying.

the fifth seed, okay, if they got some help. They're saying if they got some help at that point. So they'll probably play. If they can still get some help to get the five, is the five better than the six? I know by numbers it is, but the teams, it like it's better than the six, Charlie? Yeah, the five seed's gonna be going to Houston. The six seed's gonna be going to Baltimore. Yeah, I wonder what needs to happen for that. don't know. Five seed right now is the Steelers at 10 and six, and the Chargers are 10 and six. So the Steelers lose and the Chargers win. The Steelers are gonna end up the sixth seed. Right.

Well, yes, they can. They'll be 10 and seven and the charges will be 11 and six. They would slide up. So absolutely. And matter of fact, if Denver wins, there'll be 10 and seven and if Pittsburgh loses, they'd be 10 and seven there. I don't know what the tiebreaker is between the Steelers and the Broncos, but there might be a slight chance that the Steelers could slide all the way to the seven.

but they can absolutely go from the five to the six. And I think that's a huge difference. You're talking about the Steelers at the five going to Houston or Steelers at six going to Baltimore. Steelers are playing their guys. You want to play. I really think you want to play Houston right now. I really do. I think, you know, missing Dale, missing digs, CJ's job just don't like the same player right now.

I would love to play Houston right now. Well, they got Cincinnati minus three on the road at Pittsburgh. You know what I got Pittsburgh. Well, the problem is they're going to face the real MVP. Everybody talks Josh Allen. Everybody talks Lamar in all reality. If it wasn't for the records, Joe Burrow will be your own VP. The dude is Joey Magic, son. The dude's a stud. he's a true quarterback. He gets a little legs, which you got to kind of have in today's game. But just enough, he's a true

Drop Who was the first person that told you Joe Burrow was going to be the next big star Well, I'm going tell you this. I will say it. I'm proud to say it because I was wrong. I thought there was a chance Joe Burrow could be, not that he would, but there was a chance because that team at LSU was so good. It maybe one of college, greatest college teams ever. Their offensive line had several NFL guys.

And I just thought, man, it gets all day to throw it to those kinds of guys. I told you halfway through that season. I thought there was a chance because I thought maybe anybody can do that. but I'll tell you, the guy's good. That's the greatest college. That are the 2001 Miami teams, the best college teams ever. It's amazing how much talent was on that team.

Yeah. I knew burrow was going to be the man. So who, so what you take in Cincinnati? Yeah. You don't mess with the Bengals right They're on a collision course. Things are going to off. are going to fly. The guy, the guides are going to

Do their magic. The Jets are going to shut to his ass down if he plays. If not, they'll shut whoever down come up. Aaron Rodgers is pissed I've always been a big Carson Wentz guy. I love Carson Wentz. He's going to have a huge game. People are probably going to want him as a starter next year Anybody can play quarterback for the Chiefs. Andy Reid to figure it out. They'll still win. Bengals go to the playoffs. Bengals go to the

Hot sauce gonna eat too is gonna eat him up.

to him might not even play. don't know. Yeah, I don't know. I didn't even know the dude was hurt. And the next thing you know, he find he's he's doubtful and then he doesn't play.

But I don't know if he's playing or not. really don't. Bingo's for me, man. There's no way we didn't need him against the Browns. I'll say this. Three weeks ago, I didn't think we had a chance to make the playoffs. Me neither. Yeah. Just the little things kept falling into place for us. And we had to have a lot of things go our way. And we're still not there yet. But you know what? We're a lot closer than what we were. I the same exact way. Once Tua got hurt,

My hopes of the Dolphins doing anything were gone. You know why I give hopes? Because I know Chiefs are probably going to rest players. But the Chiefs don't lose. You know, I told you that. Chiefs don't lose. So I mean, I Denver probably should beat them. What's the point spread on that game? The Denver? We'll get to that game. Yeah, we're going to talk about that because Denver needs that one. All right, so that's Saturday. On to Sunday, the first one we'll do. Not sexy by any means, but it does matter.

Carolina at Atlanta Atlanta needs to win and They also need the Bucks to lose and unfortunately Tampa's playing, New Orleans. Yeah, so Not looking good for Atlanta, but from that game. I watched last night against the Redskins Atlanta look pretty good. Yeah, I think they got a good future. I they a good I like I was actually a fan of Pennex in college.

But I wasn't sure how good he was going to be for his first start. I thought he played really good in a prime time game against a good playoff bound team. I think Atlanta look good, man. Look in today's NFL, not unless you're just a really good one. You got to have some kind of scrambling ability and I hate every second of it. I think it's bullshit because I think the reason that happens because they protect quarterbacks and

Just being able to scramble a little bit, just think it's too much of a weapon. you know, Elena, I liked them again the year and then they fell off. Maybe it was cousins. I thought Elena played good. I actually thought Elena, I was pulling for Charlie with Washington. Also the Rams got in with Washington win. I was definitely on the Rams train last night, thought he missed a couple throws. They weren't horrible throws that could have won it, but that field goal, I thought it was there. I told you Charlie, I thought that thing was on the money.

It was short on a 55 yarder, which is kind of unusual, but it was a backup kicker was a big kick because Atlanta probably would have made the playoffs Yeah, I was a huge kick I'm gonna take Atlanta too. I was kind of impressed with what I seen as well.

I like Atlanta to win. I'm not sure about that seven and a half though, man. That's a lot for Atlanta. It is. They're at home and they need this win. Carolina needs that draft pick. I'm going to roll with Atlanta too.

next game Washington at Dallas now, this is a tricky game here because I kind of at first thought

that Washington was going to be locked in to their spot, but They are not. If Washington loses and Green Bay wins, Washington will slide from the six to the seven. That's the difference of going to the Rams in the first round or going to Philly in the first round. I don't think anybody wants to go to Philly for the first round of the playoffs.

me, Washington's got a lot to play for. Washington would much rather go to LA and play than go to Philly.

I'm seeing three and a half.

I'm gonna take Washington to keep rolling.

Jayden Daniels is on a mission right now. They locked in their playoff spot, but I promise you, They do not want to play Philly.

So they need to get this win right here and stay in the sixth spot. But like I said, Green Bay is playing Chicago. That's almost a given win So Washington better win this game or they're going to be going to Philly.

listen I'm I think Dallas has got a good team a good future. I really do. I love their defense when they're healthy you know when they get back CD Lane when he caught for the year I think.

Jones is happy the direction the team was going in. I do think this week's matchup was a bad matchup for them. They had some turnovers in that game. drive of the game they were driving pretty good and got a pick six But I think Philly was a bad matchup for Dallas. Dallas has really good pass defense. Their run defense ain't so good. So I really think that benefited Philly. and I'm not saying that's enough because I don't think it's quite enough.

What was the spread on that game again, the Washington Dallas game? Three and a half.

I just don't think they can come up with offense. I would go under in that game. Cause I think their defense will, I think that's a good matchup for Dallas's defense, but I just don't think they can come up with the points to beat Washington. Washington's coach Quinn knows that and he'll play a conservative game itself. I like the under, but I'm going to go with Washington just cause I don't think Dallas can get the points.

Next game, Chicago at Green Bay. This goes right along with the Washington. Green Bay is fighting for the six seed.

Right now they're sitting at the seven seed and I think they're pretty much in the same boat. You know, they would much rather go face the Rams in the first round than go to Philly. So Green Bay is in a good spot here. They're minus nine and a half. There's no way they get beat by Chicago, but I'll tell you what I did watch quite a bit of that game against Minnesota. And yes, Green Bay came back I told you, I thought Green Bay was the better team.

I was wrong. I've been wrong about Minnesota all year. Minnesota is good. They dominated from what I seen. The eye test that we always talk about. They dominated Green Bay yesterday until the fourth quarter, until whatever happened in the fourth quarter dominated them. So pulling back a little bit on Green Bay, but the Chicago team is so bad.

Give me Green Bay minus nine and a half. I'll take it just because Chicago is so bad. But coming off of that performance that I just watched less than 24 hours ago from Green Bay, I am reluctant to take that minus nine and a half, but I'm going to roll with them because Chicago is that bad. I like Green Bay in this game a lot. I think Chicago is bad. think they're a horribly coached team.

I actually end up liking Minnesota a little bit before that last game just because I thought it was a good matchup for Minnesota against Green Bay. Minnesota has a really good defensive stop on the run. think that Green Bay likes to get their running going to set up what they like to do. And then on the flip side of that, I think Green Bay's pass defense is vulnerable. And that's where they got them at. Darnold had a huge game, almost 400 yards, three touchdowns, one interception. And then Green Bay's running game was really kind of held in check.

On the flip side of that, think Chicago, Green Bay is a bad matchup for the Bears. Green Bay is good at stopping the run. You know, they're good at sending. Chicago likes to run the ball a lot because they do not trust what they got going on with their pass game right now. I Green Bay is a natural grass team. This game will be on natural grass. They like to run the ball. They like to play, that style of game. Where they're weak at, in my opinion, is the, their pass defense and

I don't think the Bears be able to take advantage of it. And I do like the young quarterback for the Bears, but it's, they got a ways to go. They get, they're missing a lot on offense. They need a lot of pieces. actually like Green Bay a lot in that game. All right. Both on Green Bay. All right. This next, this next game does not really have playoff implications involved, but it is worth talking about real quick.

You know what else I didn't notice about this game Anthony? What's that?

It's the Giants. The Giants. That's your new team, man. No, that's his old team. Oh Do you think even think about it? Giants at Uh Philly is minus three and a half Philly would have probably been minus about

13 or 14. I would have been underdog because people probably wouldn't expect them to play nobody right? Oh, yeah, I I get what you're saying. I know I'm saying if it was just a regular game Philly would have been minus at least 13 or 14. Yeah. The reason they're not is because they're locked into the two seat. So they're probably going to sit most of their players I'd say probably for the majority if not all the game. I gotta get 100 yards but say Kwan is

I don't know the exact number. It's a hundred something low hundreds. Yeah. Just over a hundred yards short of the all time rushing record for a season in the NFL. Eric Dickerson holds that record. I think it's 2,100 and some change and say Quanz at just over 2000 right now. So just a little bit over a hundred yards for the record to be fair. Yes, it is one more game.

So technically he came up a hundred and something yards short of the 16 game, 17 game season. Well, 16, you play 16, but it was 17 week season. Now it is an 18 week season playing one more game. So he does have one more week to try to break the record. It would be one more game than Eric Dickerson got, but let's not forget that Eric Dickerson broke OJ Simpson's record.

and OJ Simpson's record was for 14 games. Can we refer to him as the juice? Yeah, the juice. I'm sorry. The juice had the record for 14 games in the NFL. Eric Dickerson broke it, but he broke it in 16 games. Now we play 17 and say Quan is just over 100 yards short. I'm pretty sure they're going to put him in and let him play for at least a quarter or maybe two to try to get this record. Let me ask you this. So I thought about this as you were saying this.

So if they put him in, do they use him as a decoy and try to like get a lot of passing yards or does the, cause the giants is going to know what they're going to try to do. A hundred yards still hard to get. I mean, it's a, does the giants, are they pricks and stack the box against him? And it's against his old team. Would they stack the box and just give them the passing game? Cause you literally can shut anybody down the NFL if you want to just stack the box. even Derek Henry, whoever, if you just want to be an ass and say, here you go, here's the passing game. If there's any team.

that does not want to see him get this record. It's the team they're playing. You know, I know the ownership, but maybe the players and stuff. I bet you that has a good... Dude, he was a fan favorite in New York. He carried himself well. I get that, but... The ownership probably don't... The ownership probably don't... They don't want to see that happen. think that they will play him for a little bit.

It's interesting. There's some different angles there. And there was another situation earlier in the year where Saquon was about to break a record for a game. think it was maybe his personal record for a single game. This is a big one. Oh, yes. Sirianni told him he was just a couple of yards short, told him he wanted him to get the record and he was willing to put him back in. Saquon refused said, you know, let the young guys eat.

I don't need to go back in, but I totally agree. That's a one game record. This is in the history books forever. Yeah. This is the, you know, you will be the leading rusher for a season, whether it's 16, 17 games, it's not going to matter because as we move forward in the future, it's going to be 17. So he's going to be there. You can always look at it like we just did. You know, you can call the juice, the, the 14 game champ rushing champ.

You can call Eric Nickerson the 16 game Russian. That's why I don't like numbers. Period. They just gave me the eye test. But as we move forward, he's damn good at this. There's going to be 17 or more. So we're going to, you know, we got a chance at a new Russian champion here. I'd like to see it happen. I don't like to see him give him a shot at it, but I will say Philly is locked into the two spot. If they put Saquon out there and he blows his knee out, it's going to be some shit, dude. It's a hard decision. So

I could see, I don't think the Giants would be asses first thing. I think the ownership could be, but like we've talked about the players play the game. He's probably got a bunch of really good friends. I'm telling you, he was well thought of in New York. he carried himself well. he, I think he even wanted to stay there. but they didn't want to pay him. So yeah, I don't think they'll do that to him. They could, though. They could stack the box and say, you're not going to get it and just let them pass all over on. I don't think they would do that. Matter of fact, I could see them maybe going easy so he can get it and get out of the game.

He carried himself well. It could be a situation where the maybe they milk it a little bit and try to give it to them. as I'm sitting here talking about I don't think it's the right move, man. If he gets hurt, I don't think it is either. If he goes out there and gets hurt in this meaningless game, they are locked in the two seed. If he gets hurt, running backs get hurt too. I think a lot of hits.

100 yards is not easy to get. Like I get it. It is for him. This ain't college where you average 185. He'll have to play most of game to get that Hunter for the most part. I would think I would think unless he got lucky in the first half and broke off a couple of big ones. You know, more and more I sit here and think about it, Anthony. I don't think he should play. Yeah, that's not all that record is is a big record, but Jalen hurts is is out. He's been out for the last couple of weeks.

I guess they got a chance when a Super Bowl. I got a legitimate chance when a Super Bowl. You really want to know what happens if if hurts is banged up and Barclays out. Well, it happens. Chances. What's your chances go down to? They go down quite a bit of Barclay goes out. Yeah, I still think they'd be, you know, good. They got a good offensive line of stuff. But yeah, you don't want to lose that. The record would be cool, but I don't think it's the right move. They've got Philly minus three and a half. Like I said, that tells me that Philly is going to be sitting there, guys.

But I got more questions with the way they're going to be sitting. They're sitting. right. Jalen hurts is out. Pickets your backup, but he's been playing. So if they're sitting guys, do they sit picket? Do they treat picket like a starter and sit him or do they play picket picket got hit on those ribs at the end of that game the other day too. Yeah. Actually third string came at the very end. Cause I'm going to be completely honest. If they sit picket and they don't really play Barkley.

From what I seen about from the Giants last week, they Josh Allen, man, the next coming to Josh Allen. Dude, if they don't play Barkley or it or really any other starters, the Giants can win this game, dude. Have you looked up any futures on MVP of Drew Lock next year? No, but I will. Okay, I will him and maybe maybe neighbors too. And I'm going to I'm going to take a shot right here. I'm going to take the Giants plus three and a half.

just because there's so much unknown with Philly. And I did see some problems from the John. I know you think I'm kind of joking, which I know I really kind of am, but you know, I would tell you if it was just like a fluke or whatever. The John is played pretty good yesterday. They really did. I know they got a kick return touch. I watched every second. So nobody's gonna tell me, but they did get to, they got a pick six and a special teams touchdown, but

Even take those away, man. They played really good. They looked really good. And also the Falcons a week before 34 to seven. I they did. I know they did. I know. I'm not saying the judge. I'm just trying to figure it out. I'm just trying to figure it out like you are. They look good. But just with so much unknown in that game, I'm going to take the Giants plus three and I am too. I am to think they're going to sit mostly everybody. And the more and more I think about it, man.

There's they put Barkley out there and he gets her. Sirianni would not make it out the parking lot. I'm taking Giants as well. I'm with you. I'm taking the Giants. That's probably gonna be a bad. I don't even like picking a game like that because there's so much guessing.

All right. A more here. new Orleans at Tampa, Tampa's minus 14. Tampa should beat the crap out of new Orleans. I love Tampa. Not good at all. Not with him. And he has to win this game to win.

to win the division and get in the playoffs and knock Atlanta out, they easily win the game. There's no way that they lose this game to the Saints. With that car and Kamara and, I think, I think Kamara is the worst. I mean, I think New Orleans is the worst team in football without those guys. This is one of them, don't think too much, right? Yeah. Yep. Give me Tampa back. The only thing I'll say that scares me in that game is that,

You know, Tampa, I think, probably pretty confident they get up. Do they just get conservative? Maybe even try to start resting their players when nobody gets hurt. Hell no. If they lose, they fuck around. I'm just saying like, I know, but just say they, they get in really control of the game. They get up by 20, maybe in the third quarter and in Saints are no one showing no threat of scoring. I could see them getting conservative. I don't know that they just pull their guys, but Tampa never usually gets conservative.

Yeah, I don't, shouldn't think too much about this. Look, Tampa, Tampa was at home last week against Carolina and they killed them. They killed him. Wasn't that Carolina? Yeah. Yeah. They killed him. Look, I think Dallas has really good pass defense and you know, Tampa did okay against them, Dallas has a really good pass defense. I don't think you're going to see many past defenses like Dallas.

Betting on Tampa to make the playoffs and knock Atlanta out. think Tampa is a good team and probably going to be a scary team for somebody in the playoffs. I'm going to get you a Giants jersey for a president or something. don't like them that much. Get me a Baker jersey before you do that. All right, Miami at the Jets. Miami's minus two and a half. Jets all day long. Hot Sauce is going to eat them up. How are we going to figure out a way to fuck this up? Because they will.

I can already see it. The dolphins losing this game. can already see it happening. I don't think it's a good matchup for the dolphins. I think the jets, got a good little past defense Aaron Rodgers. They got the best. They got the best corner of all time. I think he's the best corner I've ever. It's not Dion. It's all started. So he's good. He is. I don't know if he's better than Dion, but he's good, They get the guys good suck all the way around, but they will figure out a way here to beat the dolphins and, screw.

They were playing pretty good before that Bills game. was ready to get somebody after their New England game, after I wasted my money on them against New England. You taking the Jets? taking the Jets? Lock. Lock. Jets are a lock, the team playing Denver is a lock, the Bengals are a lock. Then we'll get three locks. All right. I got Miami, dude. There ain't no way I actually do like the Jets in that game.

It ain't just cause I'm saying that. I know I'm being funny. way we're going to let that shit fall apart. Hot sauce. We need a Denver loss to a Kansas city team that won't be playing anybody. We got Carson Wentz, And we need to beat the Jets. Carson Wentz was the next great thing at one point. He's going to be a starter for somebody after this game. They're going to see the real Carson Last game of the week is the best game. That's why they

it on Sunday night. Minnesota at Detroit playing for the division, playing for the one seed in the NFC. The winner gets the one seed. The loser gets the five seed. Yep. You had me thinking it was the Detroit 49ers for a second. We've been talking about like, that's tonight. So let's talk about that for a second. Okay. supposedly the Troy Dane Campbell set priority on dude. It's already on.

Detroit has nothing to play for tonight as weird as that is next week. It's all next week. This game does not matter to him at all. And everybody's telling them with being how banged up they are. They should rest their players. It means nothing against the 49ers and I, Dan Campbell said he ain't built that way. He said he's playing everybody with his banged up as they are. I think that's a mistake by Dan Campbell. I love Dan Campbell. I think he's a great coach. You just can't chance that, especially being so banged up. They're playing. I know he they're losing 14 to six. I think it's his stubbornness. I think

Like it's when he goes forward on fourth down, I think he buys into his own myth. And I'd like the guy, but you can't be, we talk about it, y'all. You can't be stubborn. That's a bad move, man. Now, if they start losing by a lot, does he pull his guys? I don't know. That's the different things that could change the dynamics that could change, you know, during the game. But I just don't think that's who he is. It's kind of what he's, you know, the persona he's built up and down 14 to six right now. 49ers are leading Detroit. Yeah. 14 to six early.

Purdy seven for seven. So talking about the Detroit Minnesota game, you know, it all comes down to that game. Yeah. No matter what happens with Detroit tonight, I'm taking the Vikings. I really think Detroit's injuries are going to start catching up to them. I think it's going to hurt them on defense. I know they beat the Bears last week, but the Bears ain't much, dude. The Bears are bad. Before that, I really think that they were starting to trend down. We're just a little bit. When I say trend down, I don't mean that they should. They got all them injuries.

It's only human nature that they would start struggling a little bit, but I don't even think they're struggling. I just think they maybe not, maybe what they were. And maybe I'm wrong on that too. I'm going to take Minnesota. think Minnesota is underrated. Minnesota is a good little team.

been wrong about Minnesota all year. Can't get on the right side of them. I'm not jumping on them right now. I'm going to ride Detroit. I'm taking Detroit at home, minus three for the division at home for the one seed. Detroit is not losing in front of their own fans. Minnesota's won like 47 games in a row, dude. They've got to lose at some point. I got Detroit.

if they weren't injured, I'd take these shorts. do think the injuries you want to catch up to They're playing for a lot, man. Oh, a whole lot. A division win a division title.

the number one overall seed in the NFC loser goes wild card game through the playoffs as opposed to a five seed where you're on the road in the first round. Why does he not set his players tonight? Because he knows that I need them minus three. I get it. To finish off too.

but it looks like they're playing right now. How long they play? I don't know. Maybe he pulls them at halftime. Maybe Dan Campbell likes to bet. So I didn't try it though. A little bet on the Niners there or something. I don't know. You know me, Charlie. I needed army guys for a pretty big parlay this week. I was sitting there watching the game and they went for the other team or army went for two for no reason. I was convinced they were cheating. I'll just go ahead and say it.

Anthony's winning so many damn bets recently that any time a game even gets close, he ain't got to lose. It just got to get close. It gets close. They cheat. Somebody's cheating. And somebody there. was convinced there. I was convinced there. I'm telling you, I was convinced. It was just like crazy. Like they were going, they went up by 22, but no, they went up by like, yeah, they went up by 22. No, they could have went up by 22.

They was at 21. They just scored a touchdown when they made it 21. They wanted to be up by 23 instead of 22. Now you explained that to me and the point spread 14. So of course they didn't get it. So then it's 21. I had minus 14 and half. So at that point, that touchdown beats me. The team hadn't moved the ball on them all game. It's at the end of game. They move it down like three plays, it probably should have been a touchdown. They got called back or something weird like that. And they ended up go line standing on.

Well, then the offense gets the ball back. They go down. This guy fumbles the ball as he's going down. I was convinced, but they end up holding one. And actually, I hedged the bet during the game because I need them for a pretty big parlay. I didn't hedge them for a ton. Probably hedging them for about hedging them for about 15 percent. And I ended up hitting the hedge bet in the parlay. It was pretty cool. That was pretty cool. Yeah. Hell yeah. That's great. All right. Well, we actually I kind of like this because we actually agreed on

one, two, three, four, five, six, including the Giants, but we're going to leave them out. You agree? Yeah, no, I'm with you. Let's leave the Giants out. But hey, we got five game parlay. You like it? Yep. You know, don't think I don't think we've done any more than a four. So I kind of like this little five game parlay. You want to pick our top maybe two or three Baltimore, Atlanta, Washington, Green Bay, Tampa. Yeah. Tampa. I like Tampa.

I like team playing the saints who's that? I'm serious. I think they're bad. I like team playing the, uh, I like green Bay. You like, you don't like green Bay as much as me do. Yeah. You picked the other side on that, didn't you? Or did you go, you go on green Bay? Green Bay, the no brainers. Let's call it one is Washington minus three and a half at Dallas. Then we got the Atlanta and we got Baltimore minus fucking set. Let's do about, let's at do that 13. We can do another one, but let's do Baltimore and caught the no brainer parlay son, just to blow out parlay or something.

Then we can do another one. Who? All the big climbs. Tampa, Baltimore. What was the other, uh, green Bay? Yeah. Yeah. All right. I like it. And then we can do another one. I just said that'd be a fun parlay. Let's just do that. Okay. Let's just do that. you don't even got to think about it. They're going to blow them all out. Tampa Bay, Baltimore, green Bay. That's the don't think about it. Big spread bust their ass parlay right there. Tampa, Baltimore, green Bay. Then we're going to go all five of them. Tampa, Baltimore, green Bay. And we're throwing in Atlanta.

and Washington as a five game. I like that. Charlie, I tell you, you know, one of the favorite things I have with picking games with you and analyzing stuff and doing the show, I really do enjoy this. You know, we talk games and we share information and I'll listen, he listens, but I don't feel like neither one of us, we're both pretty stubborn in our picks and go by our own path. So many people you talk to,

They just listen to other people. That's all they do. And it drives me. That's why I won't listen to a lot of the shows, dude. And I have listened to a here lately, but I won't listen to them because I don't want to get followed by that the only advice I'd give any young gambler or anybody that's, you know, looking for a different way to do it. Cause maybe what you're doing it and working and I'm not no perfect person in gambling. I lose and win just like anybody else. But I truly believe you got to do your own research to do your own.

thinking Don't rely on somebody's video or now look you can get information from them I love getting information people and stuff like that. I absolutely love that I like listening I like listen to what Charlie has to say I like listening what my friends have to say but then the day I'm Processing that stuff. Don't let somebody else process your picks for you Take the information but don't take anybody's picks you make your own picks Yeah, now they like something you like then you might double like it. That's how I feel about it

Like when we're sitting here picking, if you like what I like, I'm like, okay, I like it. Charlie's man likes it. I like that. Like I do, but I'm not being swayed by nobody. I'm going go back and I'm to go back at some point and I'm going to look at the games that we've agreed on and look at our winning percentage on just the games that we agree. I need to go back and look at all, like add up our total for the year. I haven't done that since like week three or something, but

I'd like to do it all, but I would really like to see the number of what our record is on games that we agree on. do that one day guys. Real quick. I wasn't going to say it. I wasn't going to say it, but I'm going to say, Oh, I'm almost say it because it's y'all. Y'all ain't going to believe me. Y'all not going to believe it either. I've even double checked it three or four times. Believe it. I swear to God on my kid's life.

I'll say that I love my kids. You hear me talk about my mother. I swear to God on my kids life. He wasn't even gonna say this. I told him to say that. I know. But I don't blame you. I don't think people will believe me. I do not think people will believe me because I wouldn't believe me. I wouldn't believe me. I swear to God. I would not believe me. Now there's been there's been two. There's been one on this show that I haven't picked, but I can Charlie will tell you we were out there. We were rooting for it together. We knew. Yeah, it was the Ohio State, Tennessee. I picked Tennessee on the show, but I I changed my mind.

Friday. I just thought Ohio state was the best team. We needed to finish off a lot of money. We were pulling for it. We were, we went over to the casino that night. We were half, I needed Ohio state. Trust me. I needed them. I can back what you're about to say through the bowl game. Who cares if people, know, okay. Through the bow, through the bowl games and including the army Navy game, which went to bowl game. But during the bowl games and including the army Navy game, it's like 15 teams and like four or five over and unders. I went back and checked, double checked. I've triple checked.

Everything I think, I'm 21 and 0.

I know you call bullshit. I know you call bullshit. I would call bullshit, but I swear to God you I'm this is my probably my best run I've maybe ever had Fuck yeah, 21 and dude. I'm just saying you see me cash the tickets You know the team we talk about who we pick we talk, you know, we talk amongst each other 21 and dude, I'm mad that I haven't bet more like why haven't I've never that guy that like

I want so much this week. So I'm gonna double up next week. That's just not my style I'm like, you know try to stay consistent. Yeah, I do. I've always been that way But if I had man, I might have been be rolling in some real money I mean, it's a been on a hell of a roll and not not NFL college football. It's all college football during the bowls Dude, that's all that's almost unheard of I didn't tell you what happened. I knew I went undefeated on the playoff

And I knew I went undefeated the other day when I had that big day and I got thinking about I knew that was five and on playoff day plus I had the over and under in the Florida game and over and there in Notre Dame game So knew that was seven. I knew I had like I went like eight No on that one day so I was 15 right there and then I knew I won the Army Navy game and then I had up a few more and I was like, oh my god I didn't I kept looking for a loser. kept cuz I wanted to make sure if I said it like You know, I was right about it

And I still maybe could be wrong. Maybe there was one I missed, but I don't think there is. I've overlooked. I looked over at a bunch and I think it's 21 and older. That's wild. That is wild. All right, guys have a good new years. Thank you for listening. As always, tell somebody about us. Tell a friend, tell a family member, spread the word, get some more people listening.
